It's understandable that the party update will take longer if it is meant to be really big, but I hope for the versions afterwards the dev can move to 2 or 3 in game days instead of 4 which was the usual so we can get updates in 4 months or so
On hold means temporarily stopped as in they are not working on it right now. That is not true they are not rendering right now. There are multiple other areas they could still be working on from the progress list they show sometimes. Right now from even before the update that was just posted they said they are coding doing rewrites and playtesting. That's not being on hold that's working on a different part of the project.
I'm only very early into the game but the MC rreeeeaally feels like dobby the elf on hormones. I'm gonna power through the early game cause I think there's potential for character development, but after playing many VNs where the MC is Mr.Special living the dream life, playing as a miserable futacel (

rly depends on the route you are on. on siren or kitten route the mc actually has impact and feels like a meaningful character who is active si shavin the world around her. in the cuck route.. yes there is nothign devnfing the cuck route; taking dobby as an examply is very fitting for the cuck route since the MC is totally uselss in that route and every single other char feels like their personality got exchanged for someone else

I bet you never worked on the single project that involves coding, even smaller scale. If you do, you would understand that shit happens, and it's even harder to maintain everything whole year every year without a break of sweat, fir a single developer.

But also yeah, Ashe is very much just a giga-dweeb, even on the Siren route. It's something that's been a talking point for a long time now and we haven't really seen much meaningful progress towards being a bit more confident and sure of herself, and I don't think we will get that until the blackmail route is resolved, and potentially having Fiona be a bit more involved as I have a sneaking suspicion that she will be more of a catalyst than many other characters given how much Ashe trusts her.

It's fucking Ren'Py, mate, the dev is not making a new engine. If it was so unbearable, no one would use the damned tool to begin with. It would also make most devs get stuck coding and not rendering, something that almost never fucking happens, certainly not for that period of time.
Can we get out of blackmailing route or is it forced? I like the game so far but can't say im a fan of blakmailing stuff

I regret to inform you that at the moment it is an integral part of the plot in all routes, although from my perspective it is only a part of the whole, but that depends on one's tolerance for blackmail.
Can we get out of futa route or is it forced? I like the game so far but can't say im a fan of futa stuff

Nah it's forced, it's the main plot of the game as of right now, and you have about 200 pages of discussion regarding it if you want some theories on it.

People complain about waiting three or four months for an udapte. What should fans of Where It All Began/Summer's Gone or Summer Heat say ?
Oh i already have a theory of my own about who it is, there's literally no one else who could have been. Its Delilah, she saw Ashe having sex with Zoey probably and got jelous about it since she clearly has a crush on her, and Fiona said that she's a bit unhinged and not to be messed around with (although that could just be a bit of sibling rivlary) and later on on the bus scene she admitted that she knew who Ashe is and when confronted she said that Fiona told her which i think is a lie as i don't think Fiona would betray her best friend's trust like that.
One other option could be the cop who groped her, Natasha, but idk about that one.
But i didn't get much further with the story so far so i could be totally wrong.

Many seem to come to that conclusion from Delilah, which I don't agree with and won't repeat myself for the thousandth time, and Natasha will simply say that she doesn't need blackmail to detonate Ashe, she already has her sucking her dick on her route.
