Booze, and sex drugs, and strippers... oh, my!So the next update will have a party full of horned up futas huh
should be interesting
As in all South American novels, there is no fun without drama.I predict that the drama fallout from the upcoming party will be fucking cataclysmic. It's already been drama after drama and the dev seems to really enjoy putting Ashe ass-first (in a psychological sense)
try scrolling a little up......omgAny news?
Maybe it is not legit, if it was not posted by you.try scrolling a little up......omg
Shouldn't be very different than on cinema, some (or most) use storyboards to plan the scenes so they know where to place the camera and characters and then chose different angles etc etc and that way they know more and less exactly how many renders they will use. On cinema you know the time the scene takes and then on edition is where the magic happens to make the scene more dynamic.Noob question, how do devs calculate the amount of renders? is it experience? or based on dialogue? I imagined you made a basic plan and then went with the flow.
But Morrigan stays very faithful to the plan it seems, I find it difficult to imagine.
Just curiosity from a layman.
I write the whole episode before I start doing renders. So I have a number of dialog lines and I have the average of dialog lines per render in the game so far to calculate it. I also go through the script and adjust the estimates when there are scenes that I assume will deviate a lot from that average.Noob question, how do devs calculate the amount of renders? is it experience? or based on dialogue? how many chapters this will take?I write the whole episode before I start doing renders. All that being said, my estimates have been off a lot of times, so it really isn't accurate at all.
I don't know yet. I have the outline for the story until the end, but I haven't really divided it all into episodes. I like to have the freedom to put as many or few plot points into an episode as I feel like when writing the episode. This helps a lot with keeping everything at the right pace, not too rushed nor too drawn out.how many chapters this will take?
Thank you very much for your awesome work with this. I think it is pretty great that you figured out a workflow that works good for you and I am looking forward a lot to all those episodes that are yet to come. I sincerely hope that you will not feel discouraged by pointless discussions even in years to come.I don't know yet. I have an estimate in mind for how many episodes there will be, but that guess is bound to change anyways. So, the only thing I can guarantee for now is that there will be between 10 and 20 episodes in total.

You could say that EI is a slice of life drama so it can be very versatile in terms of plot, so as the story progresses I wouldn't be surprised if more ideas come up along the way, and Ashe has the potential to be anything, which means she has a lot of things to experience ahead of her.I don't know yet. the part 1 renders should be enough for an BIG update already.I write the whole episode before I start doing renders. Yeah, 850+ renders -- I would be thrilled to get an update of any game that was even half that size. 1464 renders as of their most recent progress report would be like three or more updates for most games.the part 1 renders should be enough for an BIG update already.
why wait?
Just my grain of salt with a lot of assumption, I'm guessing that the author prefer releasing the update as a whole instead of chunk to avoid having to make change retroactively should he discover he messed up/changed his mind in a previously released scene. It give him a better overall view of the whole thing at the end especially if the update happen in a single night.Yeah, 850+ renders -- I would be thrilled to get an update of any game that was even half that size. 1464 renders as of their most recent progress report would be like three or more updates for most games.
You'd think that a steady supply of releases would mean a steady supply of Patreon subs, but I'm no economist, I guess![]()
