This is a master class of branching story telling, even if the story itself is kind of dumb, still she managed to pull it off with grace, a amazing feat of game dev, for real, this put TellTale to shame, I think even goes head to head with BG3 in terms of branches and variations.

kinetics can have choices if its just dialog changes. the only thing that can change in mine is the endings but they have nothing to do with the choices until you get to pick your ending. dont worry about what im making its probably not for you. also its very irrelevant to this other devs game, this is not a thread about my game. but to be fair i am actually rendering right now.

Not enjoying the mini-game in the new update. I get answers right, but points don't count correctly. I got ALL math question right, but not full points, so something is screwed up there. The fact that it wont let you roll back even with a rollback mod is also ridiculous. Just not a fan of mini-games like this because you miss out on content if you don't do everything right. This is why I prefer mods.

I don't remember everything, maybe I'll restart and maybe I'll say incorrect things, but for exemple things seemed to be going well with Vanessa (if you bang her ?) (I also kind of skiped her talk with Oriana and then Ashe) but then during the "reveal" she blows a fuse about duplos, or the task with Rachel, it seemed to me it was more of a "face your feelings both of you" than a trap or something. Done in a fucked up way as I said, but still.
Don't know about Isabella, but by the end, she seems kind of "nice" and fun, just has an abrasive personality.

Or maybe I'm just overthinking this.

Anyway, jig is up, a lot of people now know, there's not really any point in blackmailing Ashe anymore.

Not really in general, the UK was just late with the introduction in schools, where I believe it was introduced in the 80s. In most other "modern" countries (including USA) it was taught around the late 19th to early 20th century.

I'm from the Netherlands and I for sure was taught it in the late 1980s to early 1990s.

What do you mean by "you lose no matter what"? When I (and from what I've read more people) experienced, is that you can easily win the contest by giving enough correct answers.

In all seriousness though, I was just going over the Topic with it. I felt like Vanessa's Reaction was Well Written, under the Assumption that there's more to the Story.

But my point is that Regardless if her Reasoning for her Reaction is Understandable, it still Butchers her Character from a Moral Standpoint up to this point.

For Example, and I used this in my GPT Discussion; Bob and Joe are 2 Heroes, Beloved by the Readers and Story Characters from their Relatable Personalities, and Lovable Heroism. But one day, Bob's Wife is Murdered by One, Sole, Evil Child in front of him. While the Murder is Told to the Readers, it is not Revealed until Later that it was an Evil Child that did it. Before the Reveal, Bob Murders a School of Children, the same one Joe's Child was attending. Again, the Reason at the time, is Unexplained to the Reader until Joe Confronts Bob. When he does, Bob explains the Evil Child, and his Vendetta against Children because of the Murder of his Wife.

While Bob's Actions might NOW seem Understandable to the Reader, it doesn't change the fact that, Bob, Murdered Innocent Children. It may be Written Well, Explained Why Well, but the Character is Inherently Butchered, and every Achievement, Relatability to the Reader, or Heroic Act, is Overshadowed by an Unrootable Act that he's done.

Character Consistency vs Character Integrity. You could Watch a Reenactment of Hitler's Downfall, and the Heartbreaking way he falls from Grace, but it still doesn't Change the Fact that he Popularized the Term Genocide. It makes SENSES, I UNDERSTAND How he got there and Why, but he's still Monstrous. Bob is still Monstrous. Vanessa, is still Monstrous. All their Victims were Innocent in whatever Traumatic Past they Experienced with People similar to the Innocent they now Prey on.

I dunno, maybe people here just aren't Smart enough to Understand what I'm saying...
