note, the "program files (X86)" was for only X86 system computer, for X64 you can search on "program files (X64)"

More like "wherever the Hell you keep your Steam", I never put it anywhere near the Program Files folders since those tend to randomly inflict permission issues. (Generally a good policy to avoid installing anything there you don't have to.)

Also p sure the numbering of the folder(s) under /userdata is tied to individual accounts.

this is what happens whenever i try to play the game. I have all the c++ installed, dunno whats the issue. the sequel runs fine without any problem.

Just fixed it, my pc might have deleted a folder or it was missing. i just copy pasted the x86 folder from esc dung 2 and deleted the steam setting folder inside it and voila its started to work.

Does the steam version save the user_memories file somewhere else? went to the location in appdata but there is nothing there and unzipping to that location doesn't update the save

Getting enough kills of a specific enemy type will unlock (or allow you to unlock) the scenes in the gallery.

Look for it through your system hard drive, then.

Does anybody know how to fully reset the game? Even if I delete the game data, and take out the Escape Dungeon folder in /appdata/locallow/hide games, it doesn't reset the memories. Where the heck is that stuff stored?
