Yes and no... Last month was pure hell at work. It started like a calm sea shanty "Fish in the Sea" and ended up turning into "Through the Fire and Flames" by DragonForce. ¬_¬'

So I was only able to work properly on the game during the weekends...
But some news: the animation for the next encounter (the underground species) is almost done, and I'm hoping to upload the dev version for testing next week.
Also, I've started implementing the nipple color change for pregnancy!
no worries mate take your time your personal life & work is much more important:)

I finally finished working on all the nipples in every frame of all the animations for every breast stage (I never imagined I could get sick of seeing nipples, but now I think the pixelated ones are the real thing), and I've also added the underground species animations.

On top of that, I've implemented the cum system! So now she can "store" cum from encounters (if that creature can release cum).

How to access the new content:

You need to place the file patch_1.pck inside the patches folder in the game directory.
I know this patch is huge, but I had to rework more or less half of the frame sprites to implement the nipple color change system.

There is a placeholder for the underground species, in the cave entrance, to activate the new encounter, but this is not the real/final location.

What's next

Now that I've finally finished reworking all the nipples, I can start working on the backgrounds for the next areas:

  • The underground cave/city where the new species lives
  • The breastfeeding animation for the underground species baby (for fast growing)
  • The desert ship wreck to place inside the new underground area (It will be used in the story to cross the desert once repaired)
  • The fungoid supercomputer, also placed in the underground area (This is also linked to a new encounter)

I'll also keep experimenting with ways to optimize the animations.

Recently I tested generating frames by merging all layers into a new one based on the current stats, but it's very CPU-heavy, especially when I need to apply the shader (converted to GDScript) on the nipple. So I need to think about better solutions.

Little update with some good and bad news.

I've finally figured out a method to optimize asset management both in animated scenes and in the world, and I've also implemented multithreaded loading for scene phases. As a result, phase changes are now smoother and use less memory.

I've also updated the Godot engine to version 4.5.1, and if you experience any issues with multithreading, you can disable it in the options menu.

Now for the bad news: the Android patch system will be delayed until Godot 4.6.

That version will introduce the Storage Access Framework, which should (hopefully) solve the problems with accessing external files to read patches. Until then, the Android version will remain a full package only.

Sorry in advance for the large download size of future Android builds.

Changelog:
  • Added multithreaded assets loading system
  • Reduced the size of all assets for optimization
  • Fixed cum visibility in the world (sometimes it wasn't synced with the data and didn't appear correctly)
  • Fixed X-ray issues in underground species scenes (The 4th cum at pregnancy stages 1-4 was not appearing)
  • Other small fixes
  • Engine updated to Godot 4.5.1

I know this update is mostly "behind the scenes", but before the number of assets becomes overwhelming, I preferred to study and apply an optimization method now rather than later.

Since I had to move to a new Godot version, this release is a full package, not a patch. However, this actually makes sense: while the previous patch only affected about half of the assets, this time I've optimized almost all of them, so a full package is the better choice.

As for the ETA of the next update, it's hard to say.
I still need to finish the backgrounds for the underground section and create the props for those areas, as well as complete the breastfeeding animation and other tasks.

The underground section is crucial for many things in the oasis part: it's the place where all the "quests" begin to prepare the desert ship to cross the desert and continue the journey.


EDIT:

I've uploaded a patch to fix a few more bugs.
You just need to place the file in the patches folder.

The fixed Android version (full build) is also available to download.

Changelog (patch):
  • Fixed the paper doll in the menu now showing milk correctly in stages 3 and 4
  • Fixed the milking slime scene (Some leftover testing code was still active, which prevented the nipple from appearing in the first part of the scene)
  • Fixed the milk puddle in the sleeping scene (It now appears correctly only when breast milk is at level 4)
