So far, this is the 3rd of this circle's games that fails to live up to any real expectations. Quite disappointing.
Yeah... I feel system wise The Church of NTR's games are super solid in terms of how to integrate mechanics into a porn game. They just seem to have the opposite problem of games that are CG viewers in that the actually porn content is like 4 CGs with little/no variation between scenes.

The game was probably a Vanilla game before they NTR'fd it. That was my conclusion when I originally played it and my assumption still remains the same.
The developer is named Church of NTR. Of their 5 games they have generated, 5 of which include NTR. If you take out all of the CGs, all of the writing and games systems reference NTR (Type B). Saying that their games weren't intended to be NTR is like ordering vanilla ice cream and saying it was trying to be chocolate. The next game they are making... surprisingly looks to be NTR.

Yes, we are talking about scenes. Did you read the scenes? It doesn't sound like you did. The scenes are written as NTR, they reused CGs like they do for all of their games, it's lazy and doesn't fit the rest of the effort in the programming and writing.

At no point would I argue taking the scenes out of the equation, only that the developer should've taken more effort in variety for CGs. Which they did more than their other games as the kissing scenes clearly show different characters.

I don't quite agree with the idea that the way they integrate mechanics with porn games is "super solid", if only because, while they have decent ideas, they don't really take them all the way in terms of implementation.

For example, I believe someone else mentioned how this game has similarities with another game that's around 6 year older than this one, the "A gentle girl and a short escape" game. It's similar in the sense that the protagonist, the girl he likes and two other pervs get stuck in a mansion together, and they have to play a game to escape... and depending on how things happen, the girl might end up stuffed with the other peeps' dicks.

Now, that game is much shorter, much smaller, and made in a much simpler RPGM engine (around 6 years older than this one after all. However, in that game, the girl getting dicked is something that you have to figure out how to prevent, and it WILL happen if you just run around like a headless chicken and let time pass. In this one, there's no such threat whatsoever, and the mechanics are much easier to figure out, in spite of it looking like it's significantly more complex.

Hell, for all that I rag on that other game for having very little H-content overall, the variety of said content is much higher than in this one, even though there's far less of it and the art being of overall lower quality. There's two different guys, and dang-it, it shows that they're different in ways that this game can't be assed to do.

But that's not the only example.

Take this circle's "Island Survivor Game", and compare it with, for example, another island survivor Game that features a Gal-like wife, and not only are the CGs and situations better differentiated, but the mechanics are set up to push the NTR to happen and make it difficult to avoid. In the Church of NTR game, the optimal island pairing for the girl is the MC and actually sending her out with other guys comes with combinations head-aches. It's harder to trigger the NTR than to avoid it.

In other words, it's just plain stupid.

I haven't checked out the Maid game yet, I think that one got a Dazed translation? So it might be tolerable... but it wouldn't surprise me if I dug around and found that much like a number of their other games, it's imitating some other game type that was decently popular, only it failed to grasp what made those games good. The gambler game has cancer tier MTL though, or that's what it had last time I checked it, so I'm not touching that with a ten foot cattle-prod... but it has good odds of being the only one of these games that's actually decent...

The mechanics of this game are atrocious. Not a single second of thought went into defining the mechanics in a way that results in the NTR outcome. You have to purposefully lose to lose, because otherwise you can just target one of the opponents on their weak game skill over and over and just skip days when they gate themselves. I came in expecting something interesting, where the characters would exploit the game mechanics to try and force you to lose by playing against each other or the girl, but their behavior is so static and stupid I don't understand why the game even tracks how many points they have available. I installed a cheat program to artificially change their points and other variables and I didn't manage to trigger any kind of logic. It's 100% tied to you losing and there's no gameplay while they're spending their time with the girl. There's not even any variation in their schedule, and they purchase the next level of ownership even if you take away all their points or give them enough to skip a stage in the progression.

You didn't really describe game systems but presentation (systems + art direction + content). I agree they are intermingled, and that this game fails along with most of their other work being a near hit/miss and depressing to play. When I say systems I mean the logical paths in order for events to occur and how the scenes are integrated into the gameplay. For example, a simple system would generally be a CG viewer; this would be where there is a linear path and upon binary success or failure you are "rewarded" with a scene. Where in this game in order to achieve said path a certain number of different state flags need to occur for something to happen. In the case of this game... the creep likes to get off by going to a variety of places, the gyaru-oh just starts based on number of times, the school teacher just gets horny every 3 days, and the gentleman person likes to drug her; which is told through the mechanics of the game.

Now, depending upon how you insert into this game it may or may not make sense for it to require a convulated success or failure to be progressive towards the NTR or regressive. But that answer would vary depending on if you like to insert as the person being "stolen" from, the person being "stolen" or the one doing the "stealing."

The spy game... is okay. Each day is split in 3 sections, where you try to investigate objects to get access to the evil guy's vault. Very grindy; in terms of lewd scenes there are 40 (10 for each part: mouth, boobs, ass, vagina) for the main girl and 2 for each of the side girls. CG wise there are like 12 for the main girl and 2 for each side girl for a total of somewhere around 28ish? Each day the villain calls a maid to his bedroom, for the main girl he develops a specific part. The side girl content only starts if you say you love them (at the end of their story) and then villain will need like 4 days to fully corrupt them or something.

The gambler game is an atrocious MTL buggy mess, yes. Funny how it was one of the best

While I had some tangents relating to art and presentation, I daresay that my focus was still on the systems.

Still, if you want to reduce it to pure coding, I can still say that this game's systems are bad for one simple reason.

Nothing happens if the player doesn't do anything. You, the player, can direct the MC to just sleep day after day, and nothing happens if you do so. You are not penalized in any way for wasting time like that. There's no coding to account for this. Worse, the player is actually rewarded for skipping days if he visits the vending machines and gathers skill points, which can obviously be used to make the games easier.

There is no system in place to MAKE scenes occur. It's all entirely player driven, and once you understand how the game systems work, aka, the interactions with the bulls and the games the MC can play with them, you have to CHOOSE to lose those games. There is no possibility of losing the games because you're bad at them unless you intentionally stack things in such a way. There is no possibility of the girl being taken away unless the MC loses at games.

This is why I say that this game's systems aren't good, because it's really just a gallery with extra steps if you really think about it. You have to lose to get the scenes, and it's entirely your choice if you lose at all.

Furthermore, you have things you can't use, like the victory tickets. You don't even have a use for them.

Worse, if my memory isn't failing me, while one of the guys has the girl, you can't even play with any of the other guys for the sake of making points, because they're not interested in just earning points, they're just interested in getting the girl.

As far as I'm concerned, there's a skeleton for a good system here. There's a good base to build upon. However, the dev thoroughly failed in building on that base. It looks pretty, but that's it. It's like a beautiful car that doesn't have an engine, it looks amazing, but you're not going anywhere with it unless you push it yourself, and good luck with that.

All that said, note, the reason why the systems for this game are bad in their current form is because the game is a NTR game. Supposedly. What kind of systems a game has and how they should work obviously depends on the type of game. A racing game needs to have systems related to that, and it doesn't matter if it has the most awesome player character creator ever, if the racing part of the game is utter shit. Likewise, for this game, a NTR game, it doesn't matter how amazing the art is and how amazing the writing is, if getting to them is like clicking through a linear VN and the gameplay is just trimming with no impact on anything. What's the point of it being a game, when you could just make it a VN then?

There's a reason why, for me, Nebel is the best NTR game I've played. Because say what you will about various details, but the systems that make it into a NTR game are entirely solid.

so i have a bit of an unintended life hack for this game;
best way to get all the scenes is to just go straight for the freedom ticket and end the game. new game+ gives you all the scenes that way. only thing you don't get i think is the door peeking scenes.

half considering just watching it through NG+ cuz i do like the setup but from the few scenes i unlocked normally, their kinda....the same.

I don't wanna give a starred review cause I would give it 2 stars, and here's why:

The good:
The premise is awesome: Locked in a facility with other people, MC's gf is the sole female, other guys are sleazy, etc. I didn't quite enjoy the "ownership" system, it sounds ridiculous, but it's a good vehicle to move things forward faster and with not much reasoning required.

The 2/3 characters are ugly/old/bbm guys. 1/3 is your typical "rude playboy" type, but again, I'd say leave him in.

Both these 2 guys want something different for her (one wants to make her an idol, the other has some weird obsession with her). So their "routes" seem to go differently, as one is really dom/sub, and the other is more "I'm teaching you" kind of thing.

A lot of hidden sex! The whole facility was meant to provide areas with glasses or curtains so that hidden sex can occur. That's awesome, it was really exciting to think of all the possibilities.

I absolutely loved the old man's reasoning, who told you to work together and that you lose on purpose so that he saves her. But then he goes and buys the ownership thing with the winnings, and then his further reasoning is that "he did that so that the others didn't buy that, so that she's safe".

The way what she says "changes" after each progression level, for example after she does a handjob, she moves her hand up and down without thinking about it etc.

The bad:
Ok, number 1, if you've seen one route, you've pretty much seen all of them. All of them are the same, all videos are the same CG, all hidden sex is the same - pretty much what you see in the previews.

If noone has bought the "ownership" she doesn't do anything with anyone. So even though she has a sexual relationship now with one of them (or two of them) you don't see anything in the map, unless you lose at a game. It would be awesome if as you go on, they start fucking without any particular reason, just because they're horny. I mean they have already fucked all over the place.

If she has progressed with 2 people, there is no threesome, and not even anyone says anything.

She never changes clothes. It would be awesome if going forwards they bought her new outfits, or changed her in some way. For example, the guy who wants to turn her into an idol, he could buy her a more "slutty" outfit.

There is one "uncle" character, which is I think a euphemism btw, I think he used to be their janitor or something. This one could be done a lot better. Since he's really weird about already knowing her from before, it would suit his character if he transformed her towards what she was like before, like buy her gifts like teddy bears or something.

The same problem with routes, as anywhere else, occurs in this game too. She has full-fledged sex with one of the chars (say, the idol guy) and yet she acts all shy about it with someone else. The janitor's route is basically him teaching her all this stuff. But she has already done them with the idol guy. So it seems extremely weird to hear her say "it's my first time seeing a penis" when her status is even "I know cocks a lot now" or something lol.

Though the hidden sex is awesome, it's the same (depending on their progress) no matter where it happens. For example, in the kitchen, where there's nowhere to lie down, if the progress is at 69, you will see them doing 69. Same goes in the baths, or in the break room. Basically, the progress bar dictates what they're doing. They don't do what they want to, but what the progress says. If the progress is that they're fucking, you won't see a blowjob. As far as I saw, this stops at max progress, where it becomes kinda random, but favoring sex.

However, the game implies that you have to buy ownership, so that other guys don't buy it, and you have to pay attention to where she is, so that other guys don't try anything. This is simply a lie. The only way for another guy to buy her ownership is if you lose to that particular guy, and it happens the next day. If you wait a bunch of days, the guys don't play each other, they don't gain points, so they don't buy ownership on their own. Also, if you're skipping days and seeing where she is and where the guys are, they're never together (unless you've lost to someone). I thought that if you fuck around and not do what you must, they will gain an advantage and buy her ownership. Never happened.

I dunno, in general the game seems to be thought out, the tiles are all custom seemingly, there's a lot of work done. But it feels like the devs went somewhere with it, and then thought "eh, fuck it, leave it like this" and they didn't add all they wanted to. But the hidden sex scenes at least are very few, it's pretty much what you see in the previews, that's all. For example, the first scene is her standing, and the guy sitting. Yet even when he's touching her, it's the same scene, but the dialogue implies he's touching her lol. I'd love it if it had more intermediate steps and/or variations.

Oh, yeah, I forgot. Something else that I wanted to see in the hidden sex scenes, was that as we go on, you can see her masturbating on occasion. Or one of the guys plotting, or masturbating to her, or whatever. It's things like that that spice up the game, and quite honestly don't require that much work to add.

Last thing I wanna say is that the CG being all the same, means that it doesn't matter what guy she's fucking, the guy you see in the CG is the same guy who is none of them (I think he's meant to be the MC). I was utterly disappointed when she was fucking the idol guy, who is short, balding and overweight, yet the guy in the CG was tall, had full hair, and was ripped too. Like, wth xD

Anyway that's all. I'd give it 2 stars for these reasons. Actually, I'd view it as kinda like proof of work for the full game.

PS: There's also one other thing, in her status there's a button that says "normal clothes" yet I've never seen this change, even after clearing the game and unlocking everything.

I can confirm that there's no logic beyond a simple counter going up to control the scene that plays next and what the girl says when talked to. The counter goes up every time a timeslot goes by while she's owned by the person that has owned her the longest and most numbers on the counter are not associated to a scene so the game kicks you out from peeking mode. The ones associated with sex scenes are the ones that match with the space in the timeslot when she would be having scenes, so only at night early on and then once in between for the later stages when she meets them outside her room. There's also no events for the men to do anything but stand around in the few positions you see them in. Same with her. The game decides their position based on the day but there's nothing else to it. Changing variables to place them all in the same room just puts them all on the same tile.
