The reason I dislike the Dalia scene was because Orion was awake, Dalia specifically yelled Orion's name to see he was there and Orion chose to hide. It would be different if he was actually asleep. But with the way it is written, I felt like the choice to be a creep was a deliberate one and I did not like that.Uhm, regarding the scene where Orion looks like a creep, honestly to me they are a matter of sensibility and how you perceive them so I don't know I think it depend.
The scene with Dalia in the bathroom is on a grey area to me, I mean Orion was cleaning the bathroom and Dalia appeared all of a sudden, Cari could have played it differently like maybe with her already half dressed and leading to a similar ending but overall I didn't consider that so bad it was a cliché typical of porn, while the Eva one puzzled me too a little, not because it wasn't good but because it was too abruptly after Annie went to get the sword.
It could have been played better? Yes, but to consider Orion so negatively? No, I respectfully disagree with you.
It would have been bad if there was the choice to let Annie know about it, that would have been a bad end plain and square, but as was played it was the typical scene that you could find in a cyberpunk, my only complain is that it was just too sudden, at least that's my opinion.
P.S. About the Eva scene I still have the impression that it was instead a planned scene by Caribdis that will come back in the future, my opinion is that we will see Eva again and maybe deciding to have sex with her will make her a potential side LI, or an ally for Orion and the girls.
It's a gut feeling nothing more, but the fact that she said that Eternum has a way to make people connect again lead me to this thought.
You're complaining about choices, choices you don't like. If it doesn't suit you well, then don't spend your money to have sex and it's all good. "But if it's possible it means it's his character" No, it's only your choice. It's like complaining about an optional kink you don't like only because the option is present. Build your own canon story. As for the Eva scene I dont like that the first thing that came to Orion's mind was throwing away Annie's life savings just to get laid. I think it would have been very easy to write a different scene where Orion could have met Eva under different circumstances. The sex scene itself was a very good one - it was one of my favorites in fact because I loved the philosophical conversation he had with her. But I did not like the lead up to it since I dont like it when the game rewards you for making choices where you would end up hurting the LIs. I dont think Annie would mind Orion getting laid but I do think she would be hurt if she saw how lightly Orion was treating her gift. But it just could be that I am reading a bit too much into this and its all in my head.
I don't feel like the choice to be a creep was a deliberate one (at least not from the character, obviously from the dev since he's writing everything and make these situations what they are). Orion just panics and hides, then commits to avoid awkwardness but take this opportunity to enjoy the sight (so he's taking the opportunity to be a creep even though it wasn't planned, see what I mean ?). I guess him falling asleep in the bathtub could have work too but I mean it still works all and all. We're talking about a time when Orion (who is a horndog, as already established) wasn't as close as the LIs so it's possible to explain why he got to Eva or why he's creeping a little bit when he gets the chance. But it's fine he doesn't need that anymore. The reason I dislike the Dalia scene was because Orion was awake, Dalia specifically yelled Orion's name to see he was there and Orion chose to hide. Yeah, I understand your reasons, that's why I talked about how one perceived it and it's ok to have different views on them, it's the good thing of having a discussion about it.The reason I dislike the Dalia scene was because Orion was awake, Dalia specifically yelled Orion's name to see he was there and Orion chose to hide. As for Eva as a potential side LI, personally I hope not because I feel like 7 girls - 8 counting Calypso is already way too much. I want the existing characters to get more screen time and be better developed.
I was just stating my preference for bad endings and sad scenes over scenes where the MC gets rewarded for being a horndog. Optional or not, it is a scene in the game and so I am allowed to have an opinion about how I think it fits within the story and affects the character because Orion is not a self insert blank character - he has a proper personality of his own. You're complaining about choices, choices you don't like. but to make it authentic you should have waited 1 or 2 posts first. That way you could have said something about not having time to search.Does anyone know, when the new upgrade comes or how far the development is?

About half a year it would seem.No hate from me but a genuine question: How long does this Dev to create an Update? I remember checking this thread out like 2-3 Months ago and theres still no update.

Guesstimate based on current dev prog (4-5% per week) is early to mid July release for highest tier Patrons. As for update sched, dev usually releases an update every 4-5 months following a week after the public release date of the recent update.
Huh? It's about 4.5-5 months if he makes the July release.About half a year it would seem.
June, July, so that would be 5. Not so far away from "half a year" I would suggest. Also since we don't know yet if "early July" will be the release. It took him 4 months for 75% (according to his own estimation), which actually means it takes him ~1 1/3 months per 25%, so that would mean release could be in the later half of July and if there are any problems it might get pushed a week or two.Latest dev progress as of literally one page ago...

Feb. 14 - Public Release
Feb. 19 - First post regarding 0.6 dev prog/official start of 0.6 development
So if he releases on early or mid July that's 1 to 2 weeks added development time. Add that to the 1 week worth of development he had from February and that counts as about a half or 3/4ths of a month depending on which week he'll release the Demon Tier update. March, April, May, June...that's 4 months. So add all of that that's 4.5-5 months worth.
Damn ... I read that as "a no-prize" at first ... took a double-take to realize you weren't having fun with it. Ah well. There is no prize for guessing the release date correctly. Even 'bragging rights' will soon be lost in the stampede to play the game. No one will care.
That was not the point of the exercise anyway. The point was simply to give a rough estimation of how long the update takes, which is round about half a year. There is no prize for guessing the release date correctly.
