Sorry if I appear a little bit rude,
Don't be. I would understand if the update posts were like in the middle pages of the forums, or the dev never updates here, but for people to be so lazy to not go back a few pages (or 10) to just spend a few minutes checking if the status has been updated is ridiculous. Then most of them do not ask politely, they complain or whine or demand an answer or start the "abandoned" BS.

If the question comes off rude, sarcastic, etc. I say be rude or better yet sarcastic. Even if you are the non-confrontational type just ignore and not answer so they have to eventually go look for themselves.

(Note: Sorry long-time lurker but trying to be more proactive lately and on every game forum these people exist, and most are irritating so I'm just on a grumpy rant, I guess. And no, not sorry to the people that complain about updates... )

Have a great day! ;)

I don't, but we know well that Caridbis likes to troll us with the teasers.

You're probably right, but who knows, maybe someone actually stole the hat, or he's in a different universe from the girls due to what "happened" on the last update.

At this point I don't trust Caribdis until I see it. He always says no cliffhanger and suddenly "puf", there it is.
I consider that a feature, not a bug. :ROFLMAO:

As for the guy in the hat, my chips also go to him being Orion, though only time will tell.

Are you saying you want to bet on whether the guy's Orion or not?
Oooh a bet! What are we betting??

Yes. And it will take the time needed.

With all due respect, there is already a lot of info around the new releases. I understand sometimes people wonder about it, but sincerely it's getting pretty tiring seeing this complaining over and over. We're all aware that this is a piracy site, and many around it don't fucking care if a guy gets burnout or fucking dies, whatever, as long they get their free content, but respectfully, learn to be patient.

As many already said, this website is more than just a piracy website. It actually encourages devs to come around and talk with their fans, not to mention also an encouragement to support the devs on their official platforms, along with care of actual files safe for you to play. Even if you don't care about supporting the dev, at least support those who care about him and love his content. Caribdis is by far one of the most hardworking devs around here, along with his great down-to-earth and chill personality. He keeps giving feedback of development from time to time.

Sorry if I appear a little bit rude, not my goal, and I understand you also want to play, I also do, but it's really starting to get frustrating to see questions about the update over and over. No one expects you to read 1744 pages, but at least check the last ones mate.

Which is ironic, because many requested Caribdis to put his games on steam, but unfortunely it isn't possible due using Honey Select. Glad you're having fun with it though.

From that angle can we really be sure it is him though? What if it is that guy that keeps dying? (no pun intended).

You also weren't the only one who thought it was Nancy on the leak when I said Dalia, and we all know how it went. :Kappa:

Sorry but I would be patient if it weren't for the money on the line.

Thats half a year that those people paid to get sneakpeaks which is basically nothing. This is like preordering a game every month but getting a screenshot or two confirming that it's in development.

If they are serious about being a game studio and a business you should deliver a product on schedule. It becomes less of a "hobby" to more of a duty to do it if there's people's hopes and money on the line. No amount of "oops sowwy I am wewy busy ^.^" posts do if your lively hood is being funded by thousands of people.

If the point of making the AVN was to deliver it as fast as possible then Cari would've done so already, as he had mentioned on Discord.

However Cari wants to take the time in making his stuff and he has repeatedly said in his Discord and prog posts that he wants to put out the best output he could possibly show.

And so far none of his subs has called him out for that. Maybe because the people who are subbed to him (me included) know that the work he does takes time and we're fine with the wait because the end result is always worth it.

Don't like that? Move on.

Caribdis also provides progress reports. How many AVN game devs do you know that produce those?

Caribdis is literally the best example of dev that "deliver a product on schedule".

He posts clear development progress and eta for every release of this game and he missed none of those so far. When the progress bar hits 100% it means the update is ready and will be released in a few days, no exception so far.

When the update takes longer to release he straight up says that in his patreon post which 99% of the dev on patreon won't even bother doing.

There are some devs out there that post fake progress updates and fake eta release dates in order to milk subscriber money or prevent people from unsubbing. When the deadline comes they just go radio silence or make fake ass excuse posts to gain a few more days to rush out an update. If anything you should go and post this garbage on their page instead of here.

You're brave, taking into account how last time went. But nah, this time I'm not so sure, I will recognize Dalia's ass anywhere (please Mr Caribdis, a little spanking would you ) but with Orion on a microscopic preview I can't be sure. And as I said you may be right.

I'll just ask this, is it your money though? If not, then why you bother in the place of the bothered that didn't get bothered?

It's always the same argument, you just clearly show you have no clue about how it takes to develop a quality game. But you have an option, do the game yourself, then you have no reasons to complain, after all you can do it faster.

Did you ever thought that if Caribdis still has to this day thousands of people supporting him that it might be for a reason?

And trust me, I'm very vocal about devs who milk the supporters, but this one isn't the case at all. You don't care at all about the money, you simply want your free content fast. And I'll stop here to avoid diving into off-topic.

I understand your point, but some may genuinely not be aware, hence I don't like to be rude. It's internet after all. But I understand your point.

my bet is a Demon Lord release somewhere between November 15th and 20th. and it wouldn't surprise me if he actually released the Public version on the 25th of December, what a Christmas gift right?
even though now i know i was wrong about a November release, maybe if the Demon Lord release happens somewhere around the 10-15th of December, then, maybe, JUST MAYBE, he'll go out of his way to break the release schedule and release the public version on the 25th as a christmas gift/apology for the unexpected longer devtime.

Everyone playing on the higher tiers in order to help Cari out with bug hunting and typo squashing so that Public Release is issue-free:

Progress?
Well, last update was 19 days ago, previous update take 20 days (a 6% update), so update should be tomorrow if everything is alright. It should be 87%) A did a little math, if Cari manages to maintain this, 99% should be on 9. December, so high tiers patreons should receive the update around 15. Everything depend how complicated it will be to put everything together.
