Umm.... Is the game world and real world somehow the same? Like hunter x hunter? Or, oial was inside the eternum? Then, how did this mc heard about the sons of Astaroth?

Same real world...also the Sons of Astaroth were a secret cult...if Eternum's MC heard about it...he would either have a target on his back or Oial's MC wrote a story about it...and in Eternum's MC's mind, the sons of Astaroth are just fictional characters

Idriel is well established in the story to be a true AI, (millions of people interact with her at the same time), but the Praetorians have been hinted in the last scenes to either be fully human or a mix of AI and human. AIs wouldn't need a salary.

Raid boss? I don't believe there was a raid boss. Thanatos isn't a raid boss he/she is just another player. My theory only relies on Luna winning multiple server contests prior to meeting the MC. No one even bothered to look up who won that contest that awarded an expensive console. Who else can win a console-wide contest other than the no. 1 player?

Another point is how Thanatos seemed keen on attacking Dalia (who Luna has not interacted with) but lost all hostility when the MC showed his face. but again its just a theory.

so first off i gotta say WOW. Caribdis did it again.... i'm blown away. Once in a Lifetime was a fine piece of art, and Eternum is even better.. girls are Just WOW ! Story.. gotta say i love it. gives me a bit Swort art Online vibes..

I guess i'm a total weeb and that i'm the only one who is seeing this but i have the feeling the MC is the Kirito of Eternum.

So I have to say, I don't usually play games with this type of art style. But I have to say I'm really impressed, I just had to finish it between the little time I had after work. Looking forward to the next update. :)

In the final scene only the sniper and the band leader are Praetorian, the cannon fodder girls are PCs and they get payed to do police service, it appears. And so far everything seems to hint that Praetorians are, indeed, humans. We'll see where the story goes.

Also Idriel seems to put some "extra awarness" when she wants to. My guess, just like the Founder appears in al Eternum in multiple instances to give a public speech then actively looks at MC probably being able to get in special control of one of the instances or even all of them, in some way we don't yet know, so Idriel, if a person, could be able to be an authomatized presence for your everyday login, yet to act in full awarness in special cases.

And surprisingly, we are not taking into the equation yet the demonic presences that MC sees in his dreams. How do they work? Are they akin to Idriel and the Founder? Might be. Sure they resemble a lot the demon MC sees in his vision in Once in a Lifetime. Which was entirely supernatural.

And there is still a fundamental question left pending: What the fuck even mean Once in a Lifetime as a title? Does is mean that you get to be the incarnation of a supernatural force and defeat an evil cult building and harem on the way just once in a lifetime? :D

Could easily be, but are not, the story isn't set up around it and even the developer has said incest will not be given any thought. A patch is not needed because there is no incest to patch, the developer specifically said there wouldn't be any. "You grew up together" is not an indicator of family, it can be, but it can also mean close neighbors and childhood friends of other sorts that grew up together. Patreon didn't do anything about "Once In A Lifetime" because they couldn't, there was no offense by the developer that they could prove and they could not strike Caribdis because of that. However, that game was specifically built around the sisters being sisters, step or otherwise, while "Eternum" is not.

We don't need it, especially when the game was not built around any sort of family, not even step. Incest games are specifically built with that content in mind, it doesn't work without feeling artificial and forced otherwise. Your example, "My New Family," is a prime example of one that was made to serve the kink and it works naturally and without being forced because of it. "Once In A Lifetime" was also built with the capability to patch out the step relation in mind. "Eternum" was built with no consideration toward any sort of incest, so out of the three I have named, this game would be the only one that would feel forced and unnatural.

Exactly, but he is right about it being a kink. Pretty much everything is a kink at this point, but you are right that it is a form of love as well.

Yes they are, from the very beginning I might add. If incest is in the plan, then there are provisions made within the story for it to be added if it can't be added from the start. There are no such provisions here and anyone who patches it would have to go out of their way to make things fit incest because it was never meant to be here.
