Get through it. Trust me. It starts out really slow and actually becomes kinda mundane with the WW server but it then picks up pace toward the end, the ending scene is the best in the game atm. Use the walkthrough to kinda power through the WW part if it gets bad.
That part really bothered me. Why are the main characters all so OP? I mean, beside Orion, they are supposed to be all regular Eternum player, albeith even top tier players. How come literally no one of the other player seem capable to compete with them even by far? It feels like there are zero stake, just because they are all too good and every other player is no match. I really think the game starts to need a bit of course correction.
i was on the same boat. now that i played it. i suggest you to do so too. i dont want to ruin your experience but i do really think its worth it. ITS JUST DAMNI dont really know what to do: play 0.6 rn or wait for the 0.7 so I get to play a lot of new content... decisions, decisions...
None of them are regular Eternum players though? Nova, Alex, Annie and Luna are supposed to be extremely OP, but for example, without good team play they would have died to the praetoreans in 0.2. Dalia already lost to one random user and without Orion she probably would have lost against the other brother because apparently Jerry is fucking useless. Then there's the fact that the collector could solo Nova, Annie and Orion at the same time in one second thanks to a bunch of lasers summoned by a silly robot. You also must remember that the members invited to the house were selected because of their lies not their strength, that was the whole point. And the ones they fought in this update were strategists, one of them leading a big army, and the other gave you a pretty explicit speech about how individual strength doesn't mean shit in Eternum.
Yes, i agree that until the last update things were ok, even considered they menage to con an entire professional operation at the casino. I'm bothered that in the last one they basically overcome an entire army almost by themselves no sweat. There isn't a second where they seem in any danger or stress. I think it's becoming too much too easy. And this arms the involvment of the players, i think. Even if they are all extremely good player, it doesn't looks credible that in all the eternum servers there is almost noone that, at least, make them put any effort. Take Alex for instance. She uses ONE SPELL, which maybe is very powerfull and pretty rare, but she sweeps an entire trench worth of soldiers armed with guns. Com'on!

If we go like "Meh, the girls are strong enough to kill pretorians on an average day, there is basically no player on Eternum who is as strong as them, they can just kill whoever they meet, zero effort" where are the stakes?
The girls are simply a bit of Mary Sue characters, there is no dancing around the bush about that. Even Penny and Nancy who are both supposedly very new to the game have already managed outstanding feats in Eternum (especially Nancy). If your suspension of disbelief can't cope with that you won't have too much fun with the game, I'm afraid.
I both agree and kind of disagree, there is a mortality issue. We know that Jerry was level 39(?) and ended up dying in one hit, and that they are being hunted down by Thanatos who has Hyas. While Yes, the girls are not over powered level wise, It just bothers me that they are rarely struggling when it comes to mortality, besides the andromeda section of the story that depending on select choices, we can die (someone said Annie can as well but Idk if that is true). I think add some high risk scenarios where there is no absolute victory route and are forced to run away (and maybe some character resets(deaths) based on choices) would be good for the pacing.
True. But what about MMA athletes that put a gaming suit on, or weapons entusiasts, actual trained fighters and so on? I mean we are talking of average girls, with a good athlete among them, and a lot of characters seems to rely on magic, which is probably not related to any fisique du role.
