Bruh, just completed 0.6. Chilling with Alex and then, Ho-Le-Shit. What a way to end, keeping us reeling at the edge of the cliff.
I am singing to the choir but I don't care, if there is a chance for the creator to see this - its worth it, the quality remains as everyone touts: beyond expectation and rarely matched in this manner of game. I already made a review for the last update (which is why this is not a review), but I cant help but continue to praise this legends ability.
To weave such an engaging story, tell it in equally engaging ways, infuse it with music which not only captures but accentuates the story beats.
I feel rewarded for my tact during interactions, I feel captivated by its worlds, I feel engaged by its characters, I genuinely am excited for what's in store.
I'm going to have to keep reminding myself to forget about this game, so the wait for the next update is more bearable. As ridiculous as that may sound, that's just what great entertainment, fed in chunks like this, does to me.
Many a good porn game I have played, but most seldom pull my heartstrings as intensely, nor as consistently.
Dude chucked out the "I will elevate my story with great porn approach" for the "I will deliver a great story sprinkled with great porn approach" and I'm all for it, its truly impressive.
That final xxx scene is one of the greatest I have ever seen. Them going at it fanatically like aphrodisiac loaded demons... fuck me.

Being a DIK and Eternum for sure are in the top 3. Can't decide on the third spot tho. I also liked the author other game but i don't think it stands as the third spot.

I once had a thought of recreating the HS look in DAZ... Maybe I'll start looking into that again...The uncanny valley effect is the first thing that come to my mind, others are the distortions of the body/faces ( that you can't always correct, this is especially evident when you use the old Genesis models).
These are the most important, followed by the overuse of standards assets ( mainly hairs but other physical assets are in the same league), and in general the fact that if you don't know how to use DAZ really well, renderings are less pleasant to the eye ( especially due to the fact that DAZ is way more demanding in terms of hardware when making the renders, so if you don't have a very good machine you can't use it to it's full extent).
But as I wrote it's a personal preference mostly, there are many other users that don't like HS/HS2 for the same reasons so take my "critique" if want to call it like that with a grain of salt.
If the story is good enough and the game is engaging I don't care which graphic software is used to make it I will play it regardless.

edit: there are a few issues with this render that I would probably try to fix if I was going for an AVN release... But to me, it escapes most of the pitfalls that alot of the DAZ games I've seen fall victim to... Or maybe I could be just entirely wrong...

You pretty much nailed the three best VNs, IMO. Mist is supposed to be pretty good, not a VN though.

My Bully My Lover/Sicae (2 ongoing projects, same dev), Desire of Fate, Hot Spring Academy, MIST, Depth's Revival, Chasing Sunsets, Desert Stalker (content warning, this game differs from the rest, does not have lighthearted tones, but still a good game)
Keep in mind the ones you listed are top rated for a reason, so once you've played them, others may not hit the same, but they are still pretty good games.
I might just be stupid but the downloads are only saying 0.5 and not 0.6. Even if I search 0.6. Can I get linked to the post with the updates for pc and Android? I'm not able to find it.

You must be trying to do Android, which doesn't seem to have been updated yet. The PC and MAC ones are up to date.

?? Front page is updated to the latest version (0.6 beta) for PC and Mac. Android hasn't yet but someone made a port a few pages back (though it's using a modded version of the latest update, so if you're not into that and/or you're worried that it'll break saves you'll have to wait probably around the public release).
If you haven't tried Once in a Lifetime, it is Caribdis's previous game before Eternum. Just as great, but older character models. I did play Mist all the way through and I would call it a VN, just with a bit more interactivity than the norm. I wouldn't exactly call the sections where you need to gather food or explore a little bit anything that far beyond a VN that has the day segmented into chunks of time, and choosing what you do each day. I love A House in the Rift, Lyriel is my favorite there but all the girls are really great. It gets frequent, smaller updates too. Harem Hotel is another, there are tons of girls and a lot of story. All those recommendations have tons of content, too.

Not really, considering that Caly has the power to mass teleport people to different "servers," whilst Dione has only been shown to teleport someone at a range where the bullet lands, making its teleportation capability limited.
Also I've been wondering for a while if Hyas' true power is to basically "cut"/"tear" through dimensions that the wielder so chooses to go to. That would still fit with the rumor of it being able to cut "any" substance, and that there likely is a caveat to it just like in Dione's case (maybe you could only teleport to the server closest to you? That would so fit Wyatt tho given that he seems to brute force his way into pretty much anything lol).
