Yes, there was grass all across the great plains of the west. Enough of it to support millions of Bison that used to populate the area. It wasn't, and still isn't, the same type of grass that grows in your yard, but it kept the various grazing animals well fed.

Wasn't there some talk a while back that mentioned that the Cari in this site isn't actually Cari*?

Also something about not wanting to promote piracy and shit (he gets miffed everytime the Demon Lord beta gets leaked but he never really goes out of his way to go here and pull out the upload...tho he does try to track down the leaker and revoke their membership status if he does, so there's that).

*Headcanon tho is that it could be either Cari who has distanced himself from interacting with the site other than liking reviews or the occasional comment, an oldie Discord member that's with the server since the OIAL days, or even an oldie Founder/Demon Lord

Okay, that bit about Cari not being the real Cari is weird... :KEK:

I mean, it is understandable to not want your early releases leaked, since that is one of the incentives for the Patreons to even buy the higher tiers then again these pirate boards are also one of the few avenues that might lead people to the Patreon page, since he can't actually put out ads or promote it on Steam or whatever. So it's not a complete one-way street either. :unsure:

From what posts I've gathered it's also about him not wanting unfinished work being distributed out in the high seas because...well, they're unfinished. I suppose there's something demoralizing about having a partially finished work being sent out and some rando schmuck plays it and says "WTF is this buggy POS? Fucker finally got lazy and joined the Darkcookie/ICSTOR league of milker devs, for shame." Worse is if that schmuck joins Discord and starts ranting about it when they have no business doing so (though thankfully people who talk about the update outside the spoilers channel gets automuted until the public release, so there's that).

Well, there's that and the rando that constantly looks up the youtube pages for the songs and comments on them about a porn game that's using it.

The amount of facepalming coming from that is sure to provide a headache even if the regulars know not to do it.

Yeah okay, people playing a version they shouldn't even have yet whining about bugs in that version is a bit...

Reminds me of Zorlun having that problem with leaked patreon versions of his game that have certain stuff cut out because of patreon and then people come here and asking where that content is because they're playing a version they shouldn't even have access to. :KEK:

Hopefully he will actually fully finish Eternum.

Like I don't develop games (obviously), but I started to half-ass playing certain games to the end because I really wanted to start another game right after it and my head was already thinking about the new game all the time. :KEK:

Wonder if Cari finally gets the balls to set his next game in his home turf (Spain)? I mean, the US (Kredon) and the UK (Mistbury) are all well and good...but I wish the next place is somewhere a bit more off the beaten path and such. :HideThePain:

I have faith he will. Man is likely going to use this game as both a foundation and a springboard for his next game/s moving forward, so he'll definitely try to stick the landing this time around and take it all the way to port, I think.
