Fr Is the rating of this game boosted ? Most of the 5 Stars reviews come from weird accounts with zero or only one message

Perhaps the only reason they created the account was to support it by rating it cuz they cant afford the dollar support part.
That is also the reason why i created account of f95zone.
To show appreciation even a lil bit.

It's one of the better ones out there. It does not do anything groundbreaking, one might say, but it provides a very solid experience. The developer has a completed game under their belt already so there's been a devoted fanbase from the get go.
Just finished this update, quality and character development still top notch. Updates feel short but I understand it's a lot of work to product something that's quality.
No spoilers but ending this time is even more intense than last time. Super curious how this one's gonna get resolved. Honestly one of the few NSFW games where I'm here for the story as much as the porn.

The text message convo with Annie where she sends you a vertical pic of her in her underwear and you get the option to say "Nice! Chang's gonna love this" cracks me up every time I see it. It's not often that a dev around here can actually make me laugh my ass off.
Game doesn't really need a boost, IMHO. It stands on its own merits.
I don't want to be That Guy, and since these are games that we get for free it feels borderline mean to say so... but Caribdis isn't exactly representative of the typical 4+-star fare on this site, and thank fuck for that.
I guess some of it is down to personal taste. I get it. I tried Pale Carnations, Desert Stalker and Depraved Awakening, and I can only shake my head in disbelief, but people do demonstrably like them. But I doubt anyone would seriously argue that Eternum is comparable to Lucky Paradox (4.5 stars and borderline nonsensical in both plot and characterization) or A House in the Rift (4.7 stars, yet with basic story structure that virtually inverts all the laws of dramatic narration)...
...shit, I did end up being mean here didn't I. Still, I think the point is clear. Eternum is not perfect, but it is, IMHO, entertaining and polished. That gets you places, or so I imagine.

Just play the game. This is one of the top 5 games on this website, assuming you like harem games.

Haha...whatever. I think what you mean is they are not anime style therefore I think they are shit? Get it right. To say any of those three you first mentioned are neither entertaining, polished or well written etc...is just....if you don't like them, fine, say so, but don't make shit up.

I'm waiting on this, but I've seen a few comments about the brevity of the release. I recall that there will be two mutually exclusive paths through this one - are you only going one route, or did you do both?
That last paragraph didn't say Eternum was alone by those two metrics. It did say being entertaining, polished and well written will net you high scores. Which was in answer to the original question about why Eternum got high scores.
As you will be able to tell by reading my post, I did put down my dislike of the three first games to personal taste. Not lack of polish or the writing. This was in contrast to the last two games mentioned, who still boast a number of five-star reviews.
Which part(s) of this confused you? I'm here to help.

I don't think I liked this update as much as the last one, however it was still a good time and still one of the best games on the site.

Just to put perspective into everything, my first AVN was Being A Dik which quickly set the bar for me in what I initially thought AVNs were like. After playing that game, I spent time looking around the forums here and downloading a bunch more only to realize what a gem BAD was compared to the others. It's not that the others were bad - they were good by all means, but BAD set a standard as to what a gem in the industry is. Then I noticed quite a few sigs with Eternum on them in the BAD discussion and figured I'd try it just to see if the hype is real. Spoiler alert, the hype was real. Eternum was the first game that was on par for BAD for me. It didn't have any crazy mechanics like BAD did, but the story was phenomenal, the romance has a nice pacing leaving you anticipating and asking WHEN WHEN WHEN??
I've been following BAD before Season 3 and the Interlude released and always silently lurking in the background reading through the forums. Eternum is the first forum I've posted on because I simply could not hold back my excitement enough - not even the anticipation for EP9 and EP10 in BAD had me this excited and I was OOBER excited for them.
