The more people say no to the live-action adaptation produced/funded by Netflix, the more I want to see it happen just for the insane trainwreck it'd be come. The shitstorm from the show and social media would make for some good popcorn eating.

Time to find some other VN games on here that would make no sense to make an adaptation but would amuse my lizard scrub brain to imagine if it was done so...Oh I see Summertime Saga listed below *gets on the phone to Netflix*

Well, i think an anime adaptation could work. Other worlds, sci-fi, harem, and superpowers are pretty common things in fantasy shonen and isekai. Also, we already have a blonde blue-eyed girl and a few tsunderes. There have already been a few anime that have two versions: one with sex scenes and one censored

You guys totally missed my point and went on about the casting choices but my point was creators like caribdis,Dr pinkcake,philly games etc would get a lot of funds for their work and there by improving the pace of updates and scale.I was hoping the creator would be rewarded and the audiences too if big production houses recognise adult games as a mainstream thing to market to people.Of course some changes to the story can be expected u dont have to be true to the source material in a live action adaptation

No amount of funding is going to improve pace of updates if the dev himself chooses to cut back production sched to a level he deems reasonable for mental health reasons.

Nancy = Scarlett johansen,
Dalia = Emma watson
Penny = Sydney sweeney,

Hope these adult games go mainstream and they get a production team like Netflix, Activision or Tencent.If u give budgets and workforce to people like Caribdis they will do wonders with the resources.The update release times will reduce drastically.Currently there is a void in me while waiting for Eternums next update.Imagine once mainstream production houses like Netflix backing Caribdis and his team...

Look at you should send your job application to netflix you already made a change of ethnicity to sweet nova. And the best way to adapt eternum is with animation not real actors.

What works as a game, doesn't translate to a movie. The story would be unrecognizable with 90% of it cut. Furthermore the tropes would go away completely. There wouldn't be a harem anymore, because although polyamory and open relationships are things that hollywood would definitely exploit, there's too much about the circumstances that's frankly misogynistic. (That Orion is essentially cheating on all of them at once. That when the inevitable harem is exposed they'll probably all agree to it but it will be limited to the only guy allowed in the polycule is Orion. It's a thouroughly unequal relationship that doesn't work outside of the realm of games like these.)

Finding an actress for Dalia is difficult, especially with all the cake the character carries.

It's not going to happen dude get off that cloud, besides the AVN stories are too stupid in their majority to be adapted to live action.

And not everyone needs to have a defeatist and hopeless view of everything. Are you that pessimistic about yourself and your own life goals too?

Film is and has been the pinnacle of media for the last 100 years and will be for at least a little while longer. THAT is reason enough for literally anything to be in consideration for adaptation.

The One Piece live-action proved that it's always been about execution. Imo One Piece is the hardest of all the major shonen to adapt into live-action because the tone is so specific, and Luffy is harder to adapt than Naruto, Ichigo, Goku, or Natsu. Yet they absolutely knocked it out of the park pulling it off, to the acclaim of both hardcore One Piece fans and the "the anime has 900 episodes so I'm not gonna watch a single one" newcomers alike. We've seen so many failed adaptations because of Business Reasons, not because it can't be done

one piece is an exception to the rule and the only reason it did well was because oda was there like an hawk watching over the crappy netflix writers so they wouldn't put their bullshit into his work.

Except the first 2 batches of sneaks heavily imply that the New World server event will continue without a hitch, so long timeskip due to hospital stay sounds unlikely.

I'm a fan of the "Last Action Hero" theory where Orion (not my name for him, but whatever) teleports himself subconsciously to Eternum where his powers are amplified and suddenly it's not that big a deal.

Finally someone that understands my point.They can do away with some sex scenes and still keep the soul intact.After all I feel Eternum is much more than a fapping game and can have a movie on its own

My current theory is probably until after the New World event (he'll wake up from the morgue and escape from there or the people working there see him coming back and they either freak out or they rationalize it as him having a heartbeat so weak that they thought he was dead).
