1000% Nancy. She's the one conquering the world after all, and that was his dream.Btw who do you think Alexander the Great's favorite Eternum lady would be if he played Eternum? Methinks Alex

We could just ignore it...That or engagement bait. It is exhausting, that´s what it is.
Why is it hidden like that? I keep seeing people say search and always just thought it was almost a joke because of how broken the search function is.under preferences (click on you name up right on the page first)

I think you got the wrong thread buddy, this is the eternum thread, the summertime saga thread is two blocks down. It's getting really tiresome now. All the top rated games on this site, BaDIK, Eternum, Pale Carnations etc are all starting to see 8 month+ dev cycles. I'm beginning to think all these devs are colluding to milk more patreon bucks by making slower releases seem normal.
I echo this sentiment, whole-heartedly -- including the part of being banned if you were a dev. I think I'd be the same way, popping off left and rightPersonally, I have never understood why people cry and complain about how long it takes some developers (especially if they are a solo act) to complete updates when, and I am guessing here, I'd say 95% (give or take a percent or 2) do not donate to the games they are complaining about. Especially, when said Dev's provide continuous updates as to the status of the game's stages.
I am extremely grateful to the Dev's for producing games, that I enjoy, and "can" play for free. I am disabled and unemployed, however there are some games I find a way to at least pay the bottom tier for in appreciation of their efforts. I would probably be banned from sites if I was a Dev since I was never one to bite my tongue when it comes to stupid, and there can be a lot of stupid popping up on these sites.
So, to Caribdis & any other dev, Thank You, for your time and effort. Most of us appreciate it more than it is said.
DPC is a freak among devs. He is still faster than the 4090 rendering speed. We don't really need to compare them. You didn't just compared Honey Select screenshots with DAZ renders, did you?
There is no tag because there's no pregnancy content yet. Also dev mentioned on Discord that it's likely going to be late game or epilogue content. No dev, WHY???
I finally got to the end of v0.6 and rushed here to check the tags.
Why is there no pregnancy tag yet, tell me he just forgot...
You noticed the question at the very beginning, right? No dev, WHY???
I finally got to the end of v0.6 and rushed here to check the tags.

This was where I thought "Oh you reached the cliffhanger huh?"No dev, WHY???
and it was here that I understood you just finished Alex's scene and you still have the whole 0.7 to play...I finally got to the end of v0.6 and rushed here to check the tags.
Why is there no pregnancy tag yet, tell me he just forgot...
God bless you, you've made my day. Also dev mentioned on Discord that it's likely going to be late game or epilogue content.
Be warned: It will be years until then we reach the end.God bless you, you've made my day.
Exactly! I very much prefer to have a good game that takes longer, than a rushed game that makes me feel nothing. Doing things right takes time, and that's the tea. It's actually really sad when people take games like this or BaD and scream 'abandoned' and 'scam' if it takes longer than a few months to update. Every chapter of this game is dense, well made and delightful. It's art. Art takes time.
That being said, if the next chapter isn't in the next 30 days I'm gonna kill myself.
You're totally right. But sometimes it's so hard not to feed the trolls...We could just ignore it...![]()
This logic doesn't work because as processing power increases so do graphics. There's a reason why NES games were made in a couple months and modern games take like 6-7 years. And that's with 100s more people working on them too.Lets hope computational capabilities(Processing power)of everybody leapfrog into the super computer esque level in the next 10 years in.Hopefully then the developers take less time to finish rendering and the only time that is spent will be to design art and everything else just takes a minimal time to process. Then people like DPC and CARI can give us updates as quick as they can.I am following discussions on both BAD nd Eternum and came to the conclusion that to get faster updates the only room for improvement will be a faster computer. To purchase a state of art computer the dev needs money which in turn means he needs to have more patrons and so on but the problem is only the devs whose games are hits will have patrons whereas somedevs who make good games cant find enough patrons to upgrade to the latest tech.So A general Quantum leap in computational power for everyone would make wonders in the field of AVNs.
While I tried to keep out of this horrible discussion, this is plain out wrong. A project has usually a defined end scenario or end date and that usually means technology keeps advancing while working on it. If every project in the world would act like you describe, we wouldnt have a single car , plane etc to use. A project is usually based on a defined platform, technology etc. It is one reason we see so many revamps of games as the games are finished and just have to be remastered. Just to remaster up to a new standard is a project in itself.Lets hope computational capabilities(Processing power)of everybody leapfrog into the super computer esque level in the next 10 years in.Hopefully then the developers take less time to finish rendering and the only time that is spent will be to design art and everything else just takes a minimal time to process.
