Maybe, but maybe not. Orion's mom has to be somebody - if Idriel turns out to be mommy it'd explain his 100% compatibility neatly.
She already rubbed too big titties to the camera for her not to have a full scene later on, it would be a massive let down.

It should be forbidden by AVN laws if it isn't already.

From a story standpoint I think my only complaint so far is that it doesn't feel like we ever had enough character development for Chang. Seems like some kind of adventure focused on him would have made him seem like more of a friend than a distraction. We get a few minor scenes involving him but I would have liked to see some kind of quest with him and MC that was more significant, whether that meant he needs an implant for Eternum or whether it was in the real world. Most of his scenes seem more like the bumbling fool type of character rather than a real friend. This game is really focused on the girls anyway though so not having much of a connection to our supposed best friend isn't that big of a deal.

But any time that goes to Chang COULD have been used for Chop-Chop... :p

Interesting idea that I've had in my head for a couple of days now... I think Chang will be in the spotlight sooner or later along with Mc!

This could also be an interesting twist in the real world where Orion after he survives (presumably) and he wants to uncover more secrets from William and other secrets and Mc will want to take Chang with him as a planner and assistant, on an adventure...

Maybe Cari has other plans for him, we'll see what happens, because Chang can't just leave him behind without much attention.

This is torture. Checking once every two days what's up in the latest updates page only to find straight up garbage. Everytime. Every game I follow is taking an abnormally long time to release a new update. The only one saving my thirsty ass right now is Superhuman.
I say to Cari (and all other VN authors):

Take all the time you need. Make sure the story works. Make sure it is as bug free as possible. The story is what got (I would argue) at least 50% of your fan base. Do it right. We can wait.

To those that agree with the commenter above:

Take a chill pill! The best VNs didn't become good by being released half baked. They are well thought out stories that captivate and emotionally connect to their players. Sure, they have sex, but the best ones (in my not so humble opinion), could have a survive being just R-rated, where the sex is implied, and not graphically depicted

i dont care how good the vn is. Waiting for 1 episode a whole year totally sucks. Which is not the case with Eternum but we close to this. I don't know how you can keep emotionally connected to a story when the gap is that long. I guess until something changes in terms of technology or these people stops doing their work alone, there's nothing left to do but accept it.

I think the best solution for everyone is if the top 12 AVN devs make a Great Council and decide to alternate releases of updates per month. Cari can take, let's say, May; Jestur takes June and so on. That way, we'll all have at least 1 update per month to play!

I think the keyword here is all, Caribdis already has a great game they happened to complete, but the reality is that for most AVN devs there's no reason to believe that they have the will, the willpower, or the skill to drive these projects to completion, so regular updates with a reasonable jitter in content/quality is the only way for anyone else to judge if a project is worth following, let alone supporting.
This is just a long way of saying that while I'd like to agree with your statement, I regretfully disagree that it holds for all but the very few authors who have shown to be trustworthy.

Hopefully not going too far off topic here.

I am glad you said "regular" updates, and not "rapid" updates. I agree that regularity is critical to build confidence in the game. It is also important, though, that the updates feel "substantial". I am not talking AAA quantity here, but something more than what many nascent VNs here do, where one "chapter" is a handful of renders, maybe a couple video scenes, while barely moving the story forward.

I agree that it takes time to build up the confidence of your players and credibility within the community. But sacrificing story/quality to show "hey I release once a month" is not the way to go, IMO.
