So when I read all of your theory, I made this one:

I agree, I don't think Cari would do that either, it would cause a manure pile stink that would never go away.Cliffhangers are fine. Pulling a bamboozle on paying patrons anticipating what those sneaks mean when they actually are fake...yeah, I don't think even Cari would do that kind of low blow.
I don't think Cari would dare ruin everyone's Christmas with a cliffhanger, right?
Otherwise, everyone would look like this at Christmas: View attachment 4248436
and in return we will get a 30 minute Endgame level action sequenceas well as a 30 minute long Nancy sexKinda sucks how each update is taking longer and longer, I remember when earlier updates were 4 months max. At this rate are we gonna be down to 1 update/year for their next game?
Would you rather he burn himself out by going through stress-inducing crunch mode per update and ultimately abandon the game?Kinda sucks how each update is taking longer and longer, I remember when earlier updates were 4 months max. I wonder if Cari has a plan to rerender the earlier episodes with better animations. Also earlier updates have "passable" renders (Cari's own words, not mine) and about 1 animated lewd scene that mostly use preset animations, hence the speedier dev time. Compare that to more recent updates where the renders are more curated and lewd scenes are more plentiful and are essentially "0.6 Alex scene" tier, and suddenly the longer dev time starts to make sense.
That hairdo doesn't really work for Alex, tbh
That's a logical man right there.
There's an old saying among computer programmers: The first 80% of the job takes 80% of the time. The last 20% takes the other 80%.
My understanding was that he's having trouble with the last scene possibly due to HS2 shenanigans (and not because of a self-imposed deadline or code breaking down or all that). The dev of Lycoris Radiata also went through the same frustration (sometimes having to rework or abandon certain scene ideas due to them not being workable thanks to studio limitations), ultimately resulting in him abandoning it for Blender and reworking the game from the ground up. Cari's a more stubborn cookie though so he'll likely pull through. There's an old saying among computer programmers: The first 80% of the job takes 80% of the time. The last 20% takes the other 80%.
See! I told you all he said that there wouldn't be cliffhanger in 0.8!
