quick question: I dont have 0.7 on my lap now so until 0.8 is released, should I download 0.7, play it to the end and wait. Will the save remain after I paste 0.8 files?

If you play 0.7, make a save, then download 0.8 on that same laptop. Then yes, your save from 0.7 will remain.

I've been affected ever since Infinite Wealth's release earlier this year had the biggest opening events, mechanics, and party members spoiled through their trailers and marketing. Would have been really fun to enjoy without having known first

A man after my own heart. I hate it when shows or games spoil themselves in their trailers. So I'm not watching that either until I've played the update.
