No fucking way I come into this thread after a while and see someone complain about "woke" shit in a porn game like Eternum
Istg ppl that complain that "everything is woke and its cringe" are just as, if not more annoying, than the actual "woke agenda"
and I say this as someone who hates it when representation takes priority over good storytelling.
The game has a multiverse, MC with demonic powers who gains muscle as much as he blinks, a penis the size of an eggplant, and a girl winning against a man who's slightly heavier than her is the unbelievable part
Next someone gonna complain that Maat's character/scene is cringe cuz she's "DEI"

I agree, especially about the reveals to the girls. That's twice I see Caribdis brush off a potential reaction montage or scene with the LI (when Orion understands that the NPCs are dead a few updates ago, and when he discovers his newfound power in the last update).
I feel like for the 1st, some sort of flashback could have been added OR maybe Orion talk a little bit with the Carters and Annie (like he does), except instead of going to sleep, all the other LI come over one after another so he can tell them at the same time or something (just to make it less complicated, since the environment wouldn't have to change or anything). Could have been a fun scene too. Just an idea though, it could have been different idk.
For the newfound power, a quick montage like Caribdis already did, but with Orion telling each girls/couple of girls with some reactions (Nancy slapping his head, Annie freaking out, Alex and Dalia looking at him suspiciously, Luna worried, Penny smothering him with her chest (
) etc). Like not a long thing, but just to acknowledge it and take the opportunity to make a fun scene at the same time.Anyway, I don't know. There was ways to do that, but Caribdis brushed them off. I mean I understand the work this great game needs so it doesn't bother me much, but yeah some major development are indeed being brushed off offscreens.

Not to get too off-topic here...
When you have an entire political ideology centred around racialist morality that thrusts itself into all forms of media with the antagonistic intention of forcibly inserting minorities, can you blame laymen for believing that every instance of a minority character, even when it is not due, is a result of some DEI ideological push? This is why the word "woke" is overused and watered down - people don't understand where it truly exists because they are agitated; by design, mind you.
I very much believe I know what I am talking about when it comes to this, and I don't believe that Maat is some DEI quota insert. I don't think Carib has some ideological intention to subversively push wokeism into his game, I think he just likes making awesome and interesting characters and a fun adventure. I mean, this game has stunningly beautiful women having constant lewdness and sexual activity for the sake of male pleasure - that is about as far away from woke as you can get.
Also, the idea that the anti-woke are more annoying than the woke is a crazy stance to take. One only exists because of the other.
Anyway, I assume mods will strike this as off-topic, but I like to share my 2 cents when it comes up.
She sucker-kicked him in the throat if I recall correctly, that is enough to take anyone down. The weightlifting segment is unrealistic for someone of her body frame, but the entire game is fantasy so a little suspension of disbelief is acceptable. I can see why some people would think it is a tad woke but, to be honest, I didn't get any typical "empowered girlboss" vibe from the scene.
I think being woke is a sign of being stupid, but each to their own. In all fairness, we probably all agree but are just using different definitions of woke from each other. It becomes increasingly difficult to host conversations like this because everyone starts from different premises and uses different language to describe the same concepts, and we all just end up confused and yelling at each other.

Say, question for folks: I'm looking to free up a bit of space on my computer, work on my digital clutter... if I delete Eternum (heresy, I know, but still) until 0.9 comes out, will I still have my save files when I install the new version, or will I be wiped to 0?

They'll be in your appdata, but you can always back up you saves folder and put it back in when you reinstall.

Well,yeah,the people above already answered that.Not to mention a kick to the throat/neck,Dalia is not just trained,she's really athletic.I believe she can hit very hard,especially with her high kicks.Seeing that guy,you can get he's not a berserk who takes hits like it’s nothing.So,there is nothing surprising about her winning against a guy like him

As someone who hates the "woke" agenda (although that word has become way too overused), Eternum is by no means "woke". The "wokest" thing I can think of in Eternum would probably be the gay hairstylist that did Penny's hair for the photoshoot, and while yes, I would've much preferred him to be a normal man (or just a woman, because women's hairstylists are usually women) it really isn't that bad, considering he doesn't play any major role, have any significant screen time or impact on the game.
Moving on from this woke shit debate.
Guys I think The Founder is not from Earth, but he manage to connect via Eternum, but not physically, thats why no one knows about his past and nobody has ever saw him, execept MC because he is the only able to see Idriel also
