Had high expectations, this is a summary of my thoughts:

Halloween party was a huge letdown, feels like it was too short and lacked content (compared to other top game where it felt like a party for COLLEGE students). This party felt very childish and not like halloween. Too many scenes that lack logic and is just a way for developer to have sexual content.

There's not a single scene that lack logic, what ? The party is there to get closer to Nova and Penny, so of course it's centered around their relationship to Orion. It's not "an excuse to have sexual content", it's an "excuse" to get closer to them because that's what the party is about. Sexual content is there because it's a porn game but it doesn't come out of nowhere. Nova and Penny both have a crush on Orion thanks to everything that already happened before between them. This party, in which people are supposed to have fun and let themselve go, is indeed an excuse to act on their feelings and get contents with them.

Also if that feel childish to you, it's because it is. College students don't go to parties to silently drink tea around a clean table and debate about philosophy or talk about rents and taxes. They usually go there to have fun, drink, get laid, and play stupid games, which leads to them acting childish. So clearly the atmosphere was on point, and litterally everything that leads to sexual content is justified by the characters and consistant within the context of this party.

I was not sure about answering this because everyone has the right to have an opinion but sometimes seeing criticism about something that's not even accurate is kinda annoying. It's like saying you don't like Annie because she's too mean with others or you don't like Calypso because she's ugly... dude.

On the one hand, as someone who really likes the story in this game, I was a little disappointed that we didn’t see any kind of plot development, on the other hand, the focus in this update was precisely on the development of relations between the characters and I liked Luna's path. So, overall it was good. I hope in the next update the focus will shift back to the main story.

Is that the only argument you got to describe the "lack of logic" of the party ? Dolores just got destroyed so she doesn't want to play against Nova anymore... easy to explain. It's not even relevant for the following scenes, the game of temptation with Nova could have happened afterwards anyway so it's not even an "excuse to get to the sexual content" (honestly it's probably just so Carbidis could focus more on Nova and less on making scenes with Dolores and the other dude, which is a gain of time and effort).

Also no, there's a difference between an opinion and a criticism. What I'm saying is there is no lack of logic to criticize, and that's not an opinion. You can say you didn't like it because it was (realisticly) too childish or because there was not enough plot for you or because you didn't like a character being how the character is, that is an opinion based on what is. But criticizing a lack of logic is objectively not accurate because there's no lack of logic there to criticize. Like I said, it would be like complaining about Annie being mean or Alex being a brunette, it doesn't make sense because there's nothing to complain about since Annie is not mean and Alex is not a brunette.

But anyway, think what you want there's nothing else to say on the matter.

Yeah, I just think there would be 0 more value if it would have been any different. Unless there would have been a sexscene between that Dude and Dolores, but I dont think that anyone would care for that.

So it makes no difference if they give up or if they participate and lose while off-screen, something happens between Nova and the MC regardless. So I also did not really get the rant why it should be "an excuse for sexual content".

(I mean, if anything I would say that the scene with Penny is more unrealistic than the one with Nova, but both are fine and good IMO and in the end, it is a game and 0.5 did a good Job to provide some bonding, especially during the Halloween-Party)

It is accurate though. All of the sudden every LI, no matter what the previous experience or personality hangup is suddenly falling all over themselves to land on MCs dick. It's totally an excuse to add more sex, which presumably enough people were complaining about that the dev felt the need to include it. Virtually none of the sex scenes have an organic entry. It feels contrived and superficial, even though the animations were great. He's 100% right IMHO.
