Should that event happen, Chang can die a happy man, but the protagonist on the other hand might end up scarred for life. Poor of him.

Really, the best thing about getting into a new space or genre/type of media (porn/ero/adult-games in this case), is discovering and experiencing all its greats for the first time.
Now, finished with 0.5, I can say that the rating on here is more than deserved. I personally wouldn't know what exactly to answer, if one asked me what I didn't like. That's how much all the positives overwhelmed me~
I like MC, adore the characters (really, I'd be struggling to pick favorites, even with a gun held to my head), can't wait for the story to continue and was more than pleased with the overall non-static presentation of non-lewd scenes/interactions. Everything feels more alive if you can see eyes move, faces blush or other bodily movement. Add different angles/camera movements to the mix and you'll get this way more vivid and fun experience as a result.
I really need to rate the titles at some point myself and not only spew out my thoughts in here, while coming down the post-game/version-finish high. (And finally start a list, to record my progress in all these games)

I used to be in the same boat as you (and kinda still am) but I learned how to get over it. The MC will always act like that because that's just the nature of the game and the genre as a whole. Sometimes it irks me how many of his actions come close to "cheating", but I just let myself enjoy the rest of it.
