Good characters, interesting story, very different settings (due to the story) varying from something like "the real world" over sci-fi, fantasy, a bit of horror to Ancient Rome, great art...just don't expect too many sex scenes.
There's a lot of subtle things, but the story is definitely a key part. The girls are well-written and feel like real people. I also really like the way Caribdis uses sound effects and zooms and other random Ren'Py effects to make the game feel more interactive. I've learned a lot from him/her.
Spoiler, MC is the sidekick of the true hero, Chang.
This is the only game I've played where I would be genuinely upset if any of the girls died in a house fire. Typically I'd be willing to sacrifice one or two if I had to, but not here.
We already established quite a few pages back that Chang is the mascot.
It still said "600" after I posted - I checked to make sure I didn't roll it over.
That begs the question: DID the legendary Orion have a plucky comedy relief sidekick?
I started that side path, intending to not go forward, but I quit that branch before Penelope's discovery. I had no interest in seeing that, even in an alternate reality.
Good story , nice LI, humor, pretty good graphics, all that mix up with very good songs and graphics "effects".
