That's what I mean. I didn't play 0.8, left off on the last update. I'm going to the same save I left off before 0.8, on the thank you for playing screen. It just switches to continued in 0.9. I tried going back to an earlier save...does the same thing when I reach the specific part. No idea what's going on. I'll try extracting again, I guess?

When I try and check the gallery also gives me an error

I don't think you're supposed to load from there. Do you have a save at an earlier point?

when loading your save try scrolling up a bit to get back into previous scene and then try to move forward. it works for me when i accidentally save on the "thank you for playing" page. I think developers just delete that page as they continue the story so saves that load that page gets buggy

I also tried this, and it didn't work...I may be cooked

I saved right before it, and on the screen itself. Went back to the scene with nova even..still did it



Edit: Okay I extracted again, went back to a previous save. It somehow worked this time. I assume gallery was crashing cause I tried to put back in multi mod, but I think multi mod stays regardless. So doubling it made an error

I had same issue but I was using the Mod. I installed an unmodded 0.8 and game played on from 0.7 with no problem.

it would make zero sense given the character development. It would also be waste of cari's time to work on "others" when there is so much actual canon stuff to be written. after everything that happened and his near death experience in the chinatown Orion realizes what is important to him and what he wants. From this point on flirting with others will be cause for punishment and losing the path of main girls, not something to be rewarded. As i said we are in endgame, from here on now its the chase to finish line and trying to get that perfect happy ending which is canonically going to be harem ending. I dont see cari wasting time making full scenes with random characters this late in development when its clear what the right choices are. In early updates it makes sense, Orion is new to town, does not even know any of girls or is only getting to know them again (he knows penny and dalia as little kids, not grown ups that they are) so fucking around when it does not hurt anyone makes sense. at this point fucking maat would only break hearts and he already promised nancy he would never do that so narratively it is impossible. in fact id be disappointed if i see cari waste time writing it as posibility cause it just means waiting that much longer for new update because of scenes that we all know are filler

I wonder what the Patreons are requesting during update schedules, because I hope it's not too heavily influenced on this update where they requested more sexual content. Although it could be that the lore heavy updates has finally caught up with Caribdis and we're closing in on the conclusion, so we're speed running a bit on the girls' development.

The animation are top notch, great episode in terms of sexual content, but writing/pacing wise left a bit more to desire but I can't really fault him for the change in pace because the plot was moving a bit fast in comparison to some of the girls' development prior to this update.

You can tell they had quite a bit of fun with the new (engine?) during development this time around heh.

I have no idea why people are gushing so much over how great this update is. I have never skipped anything in this game and generally read through everything...until the office scene. Idgaf about the picture on the desk, it's supposed to be a nightmare scene, whatever. But the narrator is annoying, it drags on for too long, and the whole thing is irritating. I ended up just clicking through it as fast as possible, even all the scenes with the girls and whatever the hell Annie was going on about there at the end. So far that makes this the worst update...nothing until now managed to get me to skip because it was so trash.
