VN Ren'Py Eternum [v0.8.5 Public] [Caribdis]

This is an insane discovery. I played so many AVN games and knew about Eternum ofc, I tried for about 20 minutes, but I thought it was not my kind of game. But reading Reddit forums and such everyone was praising Eternum for a story so I thought the hell with it, let's try it, read every line, and see where it takes us because at the end of the day, I'm a sucker for a good story.
Now I'm about to go to a Rockefeller party with Alex and I'm sooo happy I was so wrong about this game.
THIS IS A FUCKING MASTERPIECE. It's so deep with so many layers, every character is very well crafted and oh boy don't start me with a game within a game - Eternum... Jesus f Christ I'm too old to be so happy I still have a lot of hours to complete this game

Just wanted to express my joy in Eternum loves community, because now I'm definitely one of them!

There's a lot of weapons from other games, the first time she meet Orion inside Eternum, Annie wore the swords from NieR:Automata, just to make another example

Yeah, as I said before it's just the HS2 modding community being the way it is and Cari making the most out of it.

Honestly I really liked to see all the references to other games and movies, it add another level of fun to the game, and the more fun the merrier, imho of course.

It also makes sense considering Eternum is supposed to be just a very advanced MMORPG, at least to vast majority of actual players

If I got your question right,then yes.Eternum/game/archieve.rpa contains every single video as a short .webm.To extract them,you can use Unren.Once you're done,you will find them in game/images/video

Dumb question - are there specific video files for the scenes that can be pulled out and edited within the folder structure. Poking through the thread, it seems like maybe not, but if so, let me know where I should be looking. Thanks!

You can play this version it has all the soundtrack.

Thanks for the reply. I will just play 0.8.5 since i already downloaded it and i can use the LightmanP mod with it which is updated to 0.8.5. Will also save me the hassle of restoring the music.

Simply delete the folder containing the old version and download the new one. Your saves should be in a different folder (tied to your Windows user) and show when you run 0.8.5, unless you specifically find and delete them too.
