Nothing has changed that much. These games just take time and other developers of equal quality take about as long for about as much content.I have high esteem for Caribdis. Just life priorities can change sometimes. See what Martins did with his books

Seems the Medieval Fantasy Eternum Server is more like Dark Fantasy with monsters, considering we're returning to that server in 0.7.On an on-topic side note: I think a future installment needs a Westeros server where people get to behead a NPC that looks stunningly like GRRM.
Of course there could be more around, I guess...
Just started. Up to the wake up scene with Dalia. I won't lie really horror isn't one of mines. I fucking had to run that whole session on mute, during the day, under a blanket . But the resolution and scenes after at the end more than made up for it overall worth it. Very wholesome all in all. I really appreciate these types of avn. Bc if you take out the adult part, it's still really good and loses nothing, but porn content. Just an awesome story that may or may not pull a lot from Ready Player One (ref in Annie bio nice)

In regards to the horror content, who knows what Cari might want to include in Eternum about it. Just reminiscing a certain abandoned clinic (or was it a hospital?) and a boarded-up creepy mansion from his previous work should give an idea about it. Some very squeamish players will have an even harder time if that turns out to be the case (and difficulty getting some shut-eye).

...Sounds close to my earlier prediction regarding the game's length. Coolio. Wish it would go for 15, but eh. 3-4 more years worth of updates sounds mighty plenty enough.

12 to 14 updates are in the range although I could have seen him doing 15 or 16 updates

Earlier prediction was between 12 and 20 based on an earlier post in this thread by Elyxus. Then on Discord he mentioned that the remaining updates were "between 4 and 8." Now we're at 12-14.That is a bit lower than his earlier prediction, right? Wasn't going up to 16 or even 18?
I've said it before, but anything more than 15 updates was going to be a pipedream unless the pacing significantly slowed down or the next updates were full-on downtime episodes like 0.5. The fact that Cari is gunning for something shorter than that means we're about to hit some major plot revelations going forward...possibly starting at 0.7.
If that's the case, well...

I mean...it depends on how those 20 updates would've been filled content-wise.
Generally a more concentrated story is better than a story that meanders a lot just to reach 20 updates, brevity and wit and all that.
And yeah...maybe Cari was able to either include or get close to an important plot point with 0.7 so now he might able to have a better picture of the number of updates he will likely still need to tell his tale.
