It took 9 months to develop the update. Caribdis promised that the development period would not increase, and immediately broke his promise. We will have to wait 10 months for the next update, most likely.

When did he promise that development time wouldn't increase? And for which episode? If I remember correctly he made it clear that he was taking a balanced approach to development back in the 0.6 dev cycle.

Caribdis is still way way much better than those 2 devs from your signature tho, one has a huge OCD for keeps remaking the renders, developing 2 games at the same time and his development pace moving as slow as a turtle without much contents as well.

He didn't promise anything, all he said is that he's committed to it, and considering this update is going to be the biggest one yet and have 4 scenes instead of 3 (like 0.7) the extra wait is most likely worth it. Although, it probably still is taking longer than he (and we) expected.
I partially agree with you, but it should be clarified that the number of paid subscribers of these developers is 5-7 times less. And the speed of their work has been growing lately, while that of Caribdis is constantly falling.

I wasn´t here for that part (I started playing a few weeks before 0.7 came out), but i think it´s normal that it takes a bit longer. It sucks, sure, but I think it´s understandable.
I like Eternum no less than SG, it's just that Caribdis is already doing well with advertising and subscribers. Moreover, the increase in funding for his project does not affect the development timeframe, unfortunately.

Someone commented in this thread that the next update likely will have 4 scenes. Based on the story so far from the last update, which of the girls will most likely get scenes in the next update?

AND? So, what if it takes a bit longer to release updates. there are to many people that seem feel entitled to 100% guarantee of what "they" personally want.
99% of us will wait if that happens, possible biting our nails sure, but if that is what it takes to finish the game then so be it. Would you prefer he hits a wall and says "Fuck it, I am done" with only 2-3 updates to go?
AND NO Cari, I do not think you would do that.
There is so much more to life than producing Eternum (or any other game for that matter), Illness, personal issues, burn out, LIFE. Not to mention, AGAIN, that probably 95% of the people here are pirating his game for FREE.
We get a pretty well-balanced game. Great story, beautiful LI's and awesome backdrops.
(I think I need to start using the ignore function soon)

The only sure ones are Dalia (coz poster girl for the progress bar) and Annie (because 3rd batch of sneaks showed that we go on a date with her and she's up for a scene).
Other two is anyone's guess, but Cari did mention this a while back with regards to 0.8's lewds, so...

Yeah, but with Nova's horni having been "awakened" by the dong it wouldn't surprise me if those two will get a threesome in the New World (as I've been speculating in this thread a while back lol).Nancy would be overdue for a scene as well.
