I just finished 0.3 and so far its been great.
Consistently good story, great characters and great renders too. I also like that they do animations for not just hscenes but also some scenery and character movement like the nod from Nova and Alex which looks cute.
I was a bit iffy on the models at first but honestly I'm in love with the style now, glad the developers stuck with it.
If they keep up the quality in future updates it might become one of my favorite games on this site.
I'll probably wait for like 0.5 or 0.6 before leaving a review tho cause it feels a bit early for that imo.

Eternum is probably , at least for now , one of the best porn game available right now.
And even without the sex stuff , the game is still very enjoyable.
Many games here are fap material only , but i play Eternum only for the story. ( that a lie i play also for Penelope
)

this is actually the best porn game iv played. I sometimes forget that its a porn game cuz the story is so engaging

I have felt that way for only one game - its called the last sovereign. Probably the only porn game I played where I feel like the addition of sex scenes/harem themes actually hurts the game. It could easily pass for a really well done indie rpg and I am unable to recommend it to friends because of adult content.
For VNs like this though I dont think I have ever felt this way - I dont like mindless fuckfests but I think constant blueballing is just as bad. Slow burns are fine and there are many of them I like but past a certain point it becomes too much for me and if there is not going to be any adult content I would rather just read a good novel just as with mindless fuckfests I would rather just watch porn.

In VNs I much prefer slow burns because when the hscenes happen its a lot more enjoyable, if I just wanted to be spammed with 4 hscenes per release I would rather just go watch animations from hentai artists which are usually much higher quality.
You beat me too it. I was going to jump in and mention the last soveriegn myself. And I'm totally in agreement that The Last Sovereign makes me desperately want to recommend it to my friends for amazing story and plot reasons, and then I found myself brought up short by the fact that it has porn content, and our fucking leftover morals regarding sex from the insane puritans makes it too awkward to do so.

In most Japanese VN's and games i tend to feel the same way and end up just skipping the sex scenes entirely just to focus on the plot, because generally the they are really bad and long, they're basically just the text describing the sex, 30 minutes of moaning and 2 arts with some variation.
Yup, The Last Sovereign so fucking good, it's by far the best porn game i ever played and one of the best games that i ever played in general.
