Being shot and left to die is harsh enough. But I think the lesson would have been even more impactful if one of the girls had gone through this instead because of our arrogance. Could you imagine seeing Nova collapse to the ground and us trying desperately to stop her bleeding? I would have cared a lot more about that.Perhaps a dual dose of humility for Orion & Caly at the same time?

In my opinion more LIs is actually a good thing (as long as it's not a crazy number) as it appeals to a broader audience (obviously only if no girls are left on the sidelines and all of them play their parts in the story).One thing I am thinking about lately is whether the game has to many LIs. Before you slaughter me, hear me out. Of course it's nearly impossible to choose 1 or even 2 LIs to remove, now that we all got to know and love all of them. But I think things would be different if there were only 6 LIs to begin with.
I was thinking, the game was released in September 21, nearly three years ago. Considering the development time of 0.1 aswell, we are over 3 years in now. And still, half of the girls don't even have their first full sex scene, no girl had more than 1. Even if you take 0.8 into account, chances are high that at least 1 or 2 girls (Luna / Caly?) still won't have their first full sex scene. If you are a Nancy fan, you had to wait like 20-22 months between her last scene in 0.5 and her next scene in 0.8 (probably). But even if you don't look at the sex scenes but only screen time, in my opinion 8 LIs is just to much. Considering you need 3 hours for an update (my reading speed), you have 23 min for each girl every 7-8 month. And that calculaton is not considering the screen time of other characters like chang or the founder or Orion being alone taking some time aswell.
Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining about the time between updates. Quality needs time and I prefer having insane quality in every single aspect over having more updates. But this is just another reason to focus on less LIs. At 0.7, with 6 girls, every girl could have a scene more by now, while maintaining the same quality.
Again, I am not talking about removing some girls now, I am thinking about how the game would be if there were only 6 LIs from the start (or in Caris game after Eternum). Because you can't miss them if they never existed in the first place
I know it's very controversial, but let me know what you think about it!
As for the "lack of sex scenes" I think that after 0.8 (or probably 0.9 for Luna) we'll be seeing way more proper sex scenes with the LIs (threesomes as well) and that will compensate for the lack of sex scenes early on (which isn't even a bad thing, as building up to the proper sex scenes with other, more tame scenes makes them even better, compared to having all of them happen early on). Considering that Cari said Eternum will have 12-14 updates and assuming we get 3 scenes per update (probably more as 0.8 will have 4 for example) we're still gonna get 12-18 scenes after 0.8, which is plenty to get all kinds of scenes with all the LIs.

I wouldn't necessarily disagree here. Of course for Eternum the LIs are set and so far they've worked out very well. We'll see what Cari might do for his 3rd game. I personally think around 5 to 6 LIs would probably work out better and you could still have diverse enough characters to keep them all interesting while also keeping them unique.

But jokes aside, I do believe the girls have a great balance and complement each other well. If we had girls that repeated the same goal, ok fine, I would agree. But that isn't the case at all. The girls are pretty unique in their way. You even have Calypso for the princess theme, I mean, who doesn't like princesses?
Me. The whole bitchy, haughty royal brat thing is boring as fuck. And her scene is the only one so far that I didn't like. Calypso is way at the bottom of dumpster-tier for me. I'd trade her out for Eva in a heartbeat. Hell, I'd probably trade her out for Maat.

Upon further review, I have come to the conclusion that I would 100% definitely trade Calypso for Maat. Fite me.
Tastes are still tastes, so I won't say you're crazy as the guy above, but I don't know if Maat will accept it as well, if you say that you're going to 'fite'.
Anyway, just saying that not all princesses are like you mentioned, and Calypso's feelings were explained. It isn't like she's necessarily a bad person, but part of her culture, hence why she's opening up and helping Orion. She could still have refused if she wanted to, yet she didn't.
Anyway the way you're answering asking for 'fites' makes me believe you are simply trolling, but I'll refrain myself to avoid being possibly banned from the thread.
No, I'm not trolling. "Fight me" (or 'fite' me) is a joke response to a disagreement on an internet forum. And that should have been really obvious, because how would we even fight, if we wanted to, two complete strangers on an internet forum?
As for Calypso's attitude having been explained, explaining it doesn't make her any more interesting. A one-shot side character we'll probably never see again is a better character, because she raised an interesting question about the moral implications of experimenting with the darker side of the human psyche in a controlled setting with no permanent consequences. (Because everyone thinks it's just a video game.) And her scene was hotter too.

Edit: Oh and in ch1 the price of the implant changes from $3500 to $2500 in the competition- someone may want to mention that so it gets fixed

...It's just a standard suspense sfx tho. Was used when Orion got shocked from seeing the first gem of doom as the prize for the Flink mystery and when Luna saw an illusion of her mom AND after Orion held her hand to snap her out of her shock (though I suppose the sudden handholding was in itself a form of shock to her system).
