The teasers could always be misleading. Maybe Carib put them out to get people thinking a certain way, only for the renders in game to be wildly different.

I mean, 1 or 2 screenshot teasers, sure. But if most of your sneaks generally show the girls being fine and smiling then it really makes you think...

Cliffhangers are fine. Pulling a bamboozle on paying patrons anticipating what those sneaks mean when they actually are fake...yeah, I don't think even Cari would do that kind of low blow.

Also earlier updates have "passable" renders (Cari's own words, not mine) and about 1 animated lewd scene that mostly use preset animations, hence the speedier dev time. Compare that to more recent updates where the renders are more curated and lewd scenes are more plentiful and are essentially "0.6 Alex scene" tier, and suddenly the longer dev time starts to make sense.
