I mean, sure their personality is not as flashed out in the sex scenes than in the story-part, but IMO you can clearly see a difference between e.g. Penny, Annie, Nova and Alex during the scenes.It's ironic that, in my opinion, the worst thing about this porn game are the sex scenes
They feel so impersonal, it's as if when the scene starts they become strangers taken by an overwhelming lust that erases their personalities, each scene feels like a casual encounter with a secondary girl, completely devoid of connection between the characters

Yeah, Alex’ scenes are wild (because she is a wildcat), Annie’s scenes are more intimate & personal (as she is Orion’s oldest friend), Penny’s are exotic and intricate (as she is an exotic girl), Nancy’s are elegant (as she is a mature lady), Nova’s are… insatiable.

Today I’ll be very brief, since I just have a quick question regarding future updates!

Here's the thing:
How would you feel about having to choose between two girls (once the relationship with them both has been already established) for a lewd scene? The scenes would be mutually exclusive, meaning you can pick one or the other, but that choice wouldn’t affect the romantic path with the girl you didn’t choose. It would only impact this one scene (and maybe a few future dialogues), so future intimate moments with either girl would still be possible.
In short, something like the werewolves/vampires choice in 0.8, but featuring gallery lewd scenes instead. (Also, keep in mind the gallery would show both scenes unlocked after watching them in any playthrough in any case).
I could make it possible to view both scenes in a single playthrough, but this might affect the pacing, maybe making things feel a bit rushed. Of course, if you prefer that option, I’ll do my best to make things flow smoothly, no worries!

Current vote count is 56-44 in favor of branching (and imo it's the better choice, it adds replayability and doesn't force Cari to somehow fit everything in one narrative arc).

Ohh.....I'm fine with branching, gonna play an update atleast twice anyway and more story content can be fit better instead of rushing from one scene to other

Interesting, if he could do it in one play through, then I don't see the point in adding a branching option. It's his vision of course, so I wouldn't care too much with whatever he ends up going with.
But with 0.8 in mind, then I could see why he would consider it. But then again, that one could've done both in one run as well.... Ah, I trust Cari to make the appropriate decision.

This is one of those questions I'd be completely ambivalent on... because either way I'd watch both scenes... but it does raise the question of why branch it if it will not affect anything... choosing a girl would be a legitimitely tough question in this game if it actually carried consequences... this way it just looks empty

This branching would make no sense if it doesn’t affect anything. It will just give you a „shallower” relationship with the girl you didn’t pick.

There are no real reasons to branch anything in Eternum imo. The whole point about harem games and a big appeal to Eternum is that you don't have to choose, you can have all the girls and see everything. So it could be incredibly frustrating to suddenly having to choose, even if it's just for a small section of the game and/or a lewd scene. Even worst so if you are unlucky and it happen to be: choose between your FAVGIRL1 vs FAVGIRL2. On top of that the amount of lewds is quite limited, 2 to 3 per update is not a lot (when the game gonna end, all the girls won't have a lot of scenes individually *sad emoji*) and unlocking a scene in the gallery is not the same imo, i'm not sure why but if it's not part of the playthrough it's just doesn’t feel the same.

I really don't like branching lewd scenes. I like being able to have a perfect playthrough that gets everything. I don't want to choose between the girls. I want all of the girls.

I'm a big fan of big boobs (I'm sure many of you already know lol). But I like Penny or Nancy.
Does it matter though? Boobs are boobs, proportions or not, the main thing is that they can satisfy us in their signature way!
As for Dalia, yeah, you can't argue with that, if you choose a simple option with a regular size, then it's Alex and Dalia. Also I also like Dalia's abs

This has been my complaint about this game since the beginning, the "porn logic" here is RIDICULOUS and it hasn't gotten any better, the MC's magic penis that turns "virgins" into pro pornstars in literal seconds after penetration is insane!
Cuz In one minute they are all like:
Ah! "Blushes" D-Don't call me cute, Baka!
And minutes later their next dialogue is:
Let me deepthroutht you into oblivion! FEED ME CUM!!!
The inconsistency doesn’t make sense!
I wrote about this being a problem since their previous game ages ago and Caribdis gave a liked... Maybe out of courtesy, maybe they agree that this part isn't their strong suit, who knows
Anyway, I think they at least recognize that this could be a problem for some
