"Lacking" sounds a bit over the top.... On the new update if you play without a break it will take about 2-3 hours to read!

Well he's not completely wrong (since there will be years where we'll probably get one update) but he's not completely right either (coz if dev prog remains consistent then at some point we'll get 2 updates a year instead of 1, probably once we get to update 0.11 or 0.12).

No, you understood correctly. I was more objecting to the idea that "every 8 months" and "once a year" are the same thing, because they're not. But I was probably more unkind about it than I needed to be.
Well the game is fun I'm not denying that i am saying that it's lacking in the consistence of the updates and i don't personally like to play a game that isn't finished or keeps a slow pace of updating like summer's gone i loved that game but it's veeeeery slow to release a new update and if u like me play a lot of games u will forget the plot when u move to another games then return to it
Sigh... you have to understand that graphics and quality require more time, not to mention the duration of one update...
I don't know who Calpyso is, but what about Calypso? Maybe she'll be added as LI... although I would call her a bonus solo alternative choice in the future besides the harem.
Not remotely comparable. SG has been remade a bunch of times already with no visible end in sight while Eternum knows when it's going to end and continues to crawl towards said end. Plus a lot of people here have more faith in the dev given that he has one finished game in his belt.
If we chose the correct options in Calypso's path it would be pretty damn awesome if the game changes the gallery and promotes/upgrades Caly as one of the main LIs from the side girls
Yeah would definitely like that and also since we are gonna get more Calypso scenes in the future, it would be really nice to have a separate gallery screen for her with her stats
Nah, don't compare Eternum to SG. Both of Ocean's VNs pale in comparison to the content Eternum has, despite being older projects. Sure, it takes quite some time for the updates to come, but you at least know they will arrive, unlike with SG or WIAB, which may take more than a year to come out. You can see the story being resolved and relationships with the characters being developed by each update, unlike any of Ocean's VNs.
I wonder how Calypso’s approval will work given she will be introduced so late. Does the game just gives you more approval points when you get a decision right with Calypso?
It could just use different thresholds for approval levels.
This is def my biggest issue with the game, I feel like there's no freedom to roleplay or make any choices, you practically HAVE to play with the walkthrough open.
Because this AVN is less of a WEG and more reminiscent of old school JP VNs like Fate/Stay Night where the objective is less on roleplaying the MC (like in other WEGs) and more on finding the optimal/correct choice in order to proceed towards the ending, with the other choices serving as bad end options/route killers.
Makes sense. I guess different strokes, I never liked old school JP vns either.
