Different person. The character you are thinking of in Once in a Lifetime is named Lauren, not Laura.

having a familiar Style of both game is one thing, you recognize the creator "style". But straight up doing the same thing is a bit of let down, okay, I'm only at chapter 5, or version 0.5 , but.
Nancy, is definitely, a Carla 2.0 version. They have a very similar, "oral sex " scene too. Judie and Annie once again very similar scene, I assume then, the Next Annie scene will be a handjob/Blowjob.like we had with Judie I guess, we gonna have Massage scene too, with either Dalia, or Alex , may be apply sunscreen on Dalia or something?! .
I'm not there, yet, but who know it might have a Nova too, in Once in a lifetime.
Jasmine and Alex, also a bit similar, in their family background, an another kind 2.0 version of the same story.
I hope the 2 game will deviate a bit more from each other, similar style should not mean, that it's just more of the same.
I do enjoy it, but am a bit afraid that Once in a lifetime might Spoil, Eternum, if I go down this road
Just my brief observation, so far.
It is true that some characters seem to be very similar each other at first glance (Nancy/Carla, Annie/Judy, Alex/Jasmine, Dalia/the sporting sister), because they share the same role (the MILF, the sporting girl) or the same background (rich friend who has heavy issue with her father). But on a closer look they have a very different behaviour (Nancy/Carla), a more detailed psychology (Annie/Judy, Dalia/Lauren) or background (Alex/Jasmine). Moreover there are various totally new characters (Penny, Luna, Chad…), other characters are missing (the teacher) or have an opposite role (Axed/the bully turned in a friend)… In short I think Caribdis was very clever to learn what worked in his first game, what didn't work, what could be improved and what needed to be changed to create a better and totally different game from the previous one; in fact the interactions among the MC and the female characters of OiaL are very different from the ones in Eternum.

Hey everyone
I was looking in the thread about something I since the first playthrough and wanted to know if you are using it to build your theories (and what do you think about it): every time you log in into Eternum (when the white screen blinks before entering in any server (not the "wormhole" animation)) in the blink there is a hidden messages that says (in all the screen) 'Join the Syndicate'. And when you enter the game and the logo blinks (the VN, when you are in main menu) there are places where that message spams again in the blinks.
So, so you think there will be a plot twist that even breaks four wall (like telling us, the players,bathe same they are telling to MC)? If that message means the hacked Eternum, maybe Nova worked for them at some point? (even if she didn't realize it). Any or you found another hidden clue like this one?

You are talking about a Caribdis' game, the plot twists are one of his trademarks.

If Hernandez has a visor and a suite, he playes Eternum, while in episode one he has no implant nor interest in playing.

Use the Wt mod, it gives you the possibility to select and see all the different endings.
