I don’t know why Caribdis does this. He has established a strong connection with every girl except Penny. This update was the best chance to develop Orion and Penny’s relationship, but he didn’t do that, and her scene was also lacking. If he is keeping her only for sex, then at least work properly on that aspect.

Chapter 10 would be released a year later definitely on December 2026 would be about finding the Gems of Doom on Meiyo server and the participants for that mission as mentioned in this Chapter 9 would be MC, Alex, Nova, Penny and Nancy.

The romantic date with Nancy as mentioned in this Chapter 9 would also be happened on Chapter 10. Again as mentioned in this Chapter 9 meeting Axel (Alex's brother) would also be happened on Chapter 10, and MC would go to spend some time at Alex's apartment after that meeting.

It's clearly to say that 100% Nova, Nancy and Alex would have get lewd scenes in Chapter 10 though. The preparation to fight Thanatos for the Gems of Doom would be happened in between at the end of Chapter 10 and in early Chapter 11. The fight with Thanatos would happens in the middle of Chapter 11.

MC win the fight against Thanatos and he get all Gems of Doom. At the end of Chapter 11 MC, Alex, Nova, Nancy, Annie, Penny, Dalia and Luna (all of them) would go to Hyrilar using Gems of Doom to help Calypso. Yeah see you again Calypso two years later on December 2027 Chapter 11.

Caribdis mentioned upcoming patches are ''supposed'' to be smaller patches than this one and it also likely means less time is used to create it. There were also other reasons why this patch took so longer than usual (music issues start of the year and payment processor issues in the summer).

I have a feeling we will still have to wait long time, I'm hopeful for autumn 2026 if no similar issues, than we faced this year.

Chapter 11 will most definitely be in 2027, but hopefully not end of the year.

I think the Hyrilar plot will be solved before Thanatos because none of the Elves are stronger than Thanatos and I think you need Calypso present in the fight with Thanatos, also I don't think Calypso is going to disappear for two full chapters, she's gonna be involved much earlier imo.

Thanatos is like a final boss or close to endgame boss, the Elves currently are nowhere near his level.

This is the best update yet easily.
Story was entertaining but it mostly depended on cliffhangers and episodic scenes. Most "serious" moments got brushed off way too fast. In 0.9 the story might have not advanced much but it took its time to develop the events properly and now I'm beginning to feel like we're digging into the real storyline Caribdis wanted to write.

Nova had a hack to steal his gems at one point. Ofc it'd do it when he logged in... which he probs doesn't do much any more. Still there's at least the seed of a way to end-run around him rather than needing to take him down.
