I'm not gonna read if anyone already thinks this way and just gonna come out and say it without spoilers - what a weird update. The elf part was just 11/10 best storyline in the entire game (and well it's the best VN ever so, best VN storyline ever). Training with Lan Mandragoran, Calypso. The mini-tournament was outright hilarious, BING BANG TWANG ok i'm done. The suspense, the character-building, side characters that are more interesting than some main characters...
...then the rest was kind of underwhelming a little? I think Cari is a bit lost on how to tie together the harem without ruining players' immersion. And it's getting a little too complicated to give time for character development any more since the story is speeding up. I think this is the only update where we don't learn anything new about any of the main LIs and we learn nothing new about Eternum at the same time.
It was still amazing because of the elf part though. Fuck me I'd pay good fucking money for a post-Eternum DLC where we adventure with Calypso and Lorelei being racism'd and playing terrible music

I enjoyed this update, here is a quick spoilery review:
The Elf part was too long - by far. Too many new characters I don’t care about, too many new subplots I don’t care about. I don’t like Calypso, but even if I did I‘d still say this section should have been cut by 50% or more. The main LIs aren’t getting enough character development - as commented on by numerous people in this thread - and we didn’t have a lewd with Annie, Nancy, or Nova, but we fucked a random maid? Cmon!
The Christmas getaway was great - but it should have been longer. Penny‘s scene was good, I think much better than Motor Madness. The hot tub game was great, could have been spicier, but the concept is fantastic and I think there should be more mini games like this. The Dalia - Alex threesome was S+ tier! Best money shot in the game, which helps to get over Dalia’s last scene which was a travesty, especially the money shot. Lots of great shots of the two girls, we actually got to see their faces (again, so much better compared to Dalia’s last scene). Only wish would have been for some animations of Dalia being penetrated.
I enjoyed the HQ mission well enough, it was good to have Chang come along. Again, this could have been a little longer, and actually advance the main plot, if only the Elves hadn’t taken up 2/3 of the entire update.
Luna’s date was good. Good length, and a great scene to finish off the update. I wish Dalia’s first sex scene was crafter as well as this one - great foreplay, great action, good cinematograph, great animations. I wasn‘t a Luna fan till the barn BJ scene, but now she’s firmly in my second tier of girls, tied with Alex, Annie, and Nancy, right behind Dalia as number one.
Cliffhanger is good - I don‘t need it to be a nail biter like Orion getting shot. I think it will actually move the plot forward.

I finished the update. I always pay attention to the story, dialogues, and everything in Eternum, but for the first time, I didn't understand the ending. Could someone explain the ending ? Is MC in shock because he thinks the Li who went to play Eternum at Alex's house might be among the dead ?

Yes certainly seems that way. Makes sense that he would be concerned for the girls. But all other people dying as well would probably shock anyone, unless they have no compassion

Likely new ones. I was under the impression that what Lorelei meant was the maids Caly was closest to were sent to different realms after she vanished, which is why the former is the only one Caly was closely interacting with throughout the arc.

Finally ended the update. As usual, Caribdis never disapoints, please support him if you can. What a fucking game. Clair Obscur the game of the year my ass, Eternum is.
About the cliffhanger, I'm pretty much certain it was William Bardot who called him. It is implied that he is evil and due Axel's call, the way it was done made it seem the players being trapped was on purpose. I just wonder what Axel actually wanted to say. So yeah, most probably it was William, unless it was Idriel, but I really doubt it. The Founder I don't buy it as well.
Finally, the way plot is going it seems Bardot's side is trying to get Calypso's genes, hence why their dimension is out of the grid. Eternum is a pathway between Earth and Hyril'ar. The founder and Idriel are the original ancestors or both Calypso and the Orion. The founder trapped Calypso as a way to avoid she wouldn't go to them.
I know Dorf will probably say I'm wrong, but it's what I believe, and the last cliffhanger is pushing into that side too.

The android version is a pain in the ass to get working. I download. I exract. I try to copy the archive over to the caribdis eternum folder and it cancels the transfer. I cant get it to work.
