I would actually think Orion and the girls will try to go to Hyril'ar in some way and help Calypso beating the coup. Having her just appear in a few updates having beaten the coup (or having failed doing so, due to the player giving her the wrong information) would be rather anti-climatic in my opinion.

Yeah that's what I think will happen too but again not sure how the choices of giving right or wrong information will affect that. Will Caly distrust Orion and decide to stay in Hyrilar after subduing the coup if we choose the wrong info? Or it's just gonna be more heart points if you're right

I think she already is, if your see the love metter(?), you will see that it changed from that other girl from the bar to Calypso after you went to her route.

Strange. I didn't lie either and passed the trial. Did you attack Sylax before the trial by any chance? Or maybe it was the bird/cup thing. I "passed" that one on the first go.

Now I'll have to find out what sequence of choices allowed you to be honest and lead to Thorund not judging you guilty.

I can't remember, the first or second time, we had to lie, otherwise we told the truth about everything else. The bird test failed, but it was scripted, and Lorelei's intervention at the trial was scripted as well.

Really don't know how you can dislike the elf part. The tournament was beyond fantastic, Calypso got a crapton of characterization, more than any other character got in half an update. All the side characters are memorable as hell, from General Lan (I mean Arannis, of course) to Lorelei, even the nasty elves and the bloodthirsty suitor elf.

The only real downside is Hyril'ar will have an unsatisfying conclusion because we built it up as a massive civil war and tons of characters, but there's not enough time top explore it fully.

Also elf plot was 11/10 AAAA quality, from the music, to the visuals and the animated scenes like when you tell Arannis (I mean Lan, of course) in a panic what happened.

There were also so many good moments like the guard out of nowhere commenting Calypso's tits, playing the lyre during the tourney, waving at Lorelei and almost everything else to do with her enthusiasm, the training, Arannis (I mean Lan) and his speeches.

Just no idea how you can dislike it, I think it's the finest plot ever put in a VN.

You just wait I already have a good spanking in store for Caly the next time we see her fo pushing us into the portal and not let us take the fight to safely relocate Caly and Lorelei

so basically Nova will become a scapegoat on chapter 10 and the cliffhanger was kinda weak sauce !

She doesn't have to be as we found out that if we failed the interview same thing would have happened so she's not the reason for the malfunction

Something tells me Lorelei is very loyal to Caly that she will be willing to sacrifice herself. I'll be mentally prepared for something like that just in case

About the cliffhanger, I'm pretty much certain it was William Bardot who called him. It is implied that he is evil and due Axel's call, the way it was done made it seem the players being trapped was on purpose. I just wonder what Axel actually wanted to say. So yeah, most probably it was William, unless it was Idriel, but I really doubt it. The Founder I don't buy it as well.

I believe with 99% certainty that he was called by those same people “in the shadows” who gave him a note that he should open at the right moment.


Calypso
was sold to the immortals by her own elves, I am sure of it.
And the founder is most likely the same immortal who locked her in a box and stole the power to move between worlds.

So... does the new update fix it so that in the menu you can select the girls' outfits individually rather than them all following the same sequence/defaulting to 1 when they don't have one for the number you choose? Or is there no change with this? If not, then is there a way I could fix it myself somehow?

It especially sucks for Calypso who doesn't have as many outfits as anyone else, at least so far in terms of my own progress (but I don't feel like that will change tbh at least not til way way later, like even in a future update possibly) , so she's almost always stuck on the first one for me..
