I understood, but at least you tried again or I would have easily missed your answer. I really think Cari always had Caly in mind as a future LI, otherwise she probably wouldn't be such a recurring figure in the story. But if us players helped him make that decision, then points for Cari for listening to his fanbase.
The usual is around 3 scenes, the last two updates were an oddity in that regard. The only thing I´m expecting going forward is every update having at least one threesome. But I still think he will keep the 3-4 lewd scenes as usual.

Still can't get over this whole scene, it's so beautifully made. As someone who always liked Calypso and was hoping for her to get proper development and become a LI, this update was everything I could've asked for regarding her

I'm gonna be honest here, I wasn't really emotionally invested into any of the girls in first few versions, aside from maybe Nancy, she just has that attractive energy. Not to say I didn't like them, I did, especially Luna, she's a very nice person. But the longer it goes on, the more character development is shown, the more I grew fond of them. My alltime favourite is still Alex, but after 0.8 and 0.9, especially that scene at the end... yeah, Caribdis took my heart strings, tightened them up and played them like a bloody violin. I hope Calypso will come out OK from that clusterfuck.
I didn't get any presents for Christmas this year, but damn I've gotten one today!

It's so refreshing to play this game at the end of the year when work becomes kinda bs before the big break. I usually just finish a new update in 1 go but I could actually take my time with this one.
And boy am I glad Cary has more time to build the relationships in Eternum. I love OIALT but I was a bit disappointed by the lack of interactions between the LIs in that game. So seeing how this update continues to build up on where 0.8 left off in this aspect and watching more of the girls find out about each other and coping with not only that but the disappearance of Mr. Richards? Pure gold.... and heartbreak.
So here it is. My kinda review of the update.
Now seeing how this was a more relationship focused update I won't do a serious review about the rest....... but I will make cringe memes about some things. Beginning with:

Calypso kiss scene was one of the best sequences in this whole game, and THE SHIVER when I heard the heart sound after the kiss, I instantly checked Main Girls status and saw her there. Absolute peak.

Ok, finished the update. Good cliffhanger, I also hate it with every fiber of my being because I know it won't be resolved for many more months and I was so engrossed in the game. Fuck.
Calypso was awesome, no notes. I loved how in that moment she shed any performance of strength and her true strength and virtue was laid bare. Also she's so fucking hot. Also when we teleported back to Earth, we were still wearing the clothes from Hyril'ar, maybe means we could really bring Calypso to Earth if we wanted. And seeing Calypso given her rightful spot in the menu of the girls is very gratifying.
I want to say that I would be very surprised if any of the girls died from the implant malfunction, but there was talk about how we would react if Luna died... I don't think any death, were one to occur, would be permanent, there's probably some necromancy shit that would happen like Luna was saying she would do if we were to die. But yeah, good cliffhanger, and I hate it.
It's also interesting how our teleportation power is now safer than the implants, seeing as in this chapter we were remarking how unsafe it is and how we'd never bring anyone else with us again, but now it carries less risk since you can leave without needing an exit portal (though I guess we'd be the exit portal?). Also, it does make sense that it would be due to our hack on Ulysses. It was way too easy, I was kind of wondering what the tension really was with the heist, or if it was just meant to be a fun sequence. But if those freaky guys piggybacked off of Nova's hack to accomplish this mass-death, then that provides the personal adversity that was missing from the heist in this chapter.
But in all, great update. When each update releases I fall in love with the game all over again, it's real good shit.
EDIT: OH also I loved getting the true ending of the game with the Idriel sex scene. Thanks for rewarding my dedication

What did Annie do in this Update btw...We already have people complaining about certain girls being benched during certain updates because of the LI count and you want that to become worse by adding more girls?
