Leaving my own comment here if someone decides to be a hero and post it here in thread.

I know its not just for annoying Caribdis, but in a way he brought to us this magnificent work of art, and doing so just for those 3 reasons seems pretty rude to me. It's not like you are leaking FIFA 26, you are harming a single person that probably economically depends on this game.

I find it hard to discern right from wrong here.

On one hand, Caribdis makes an easy 20k per month on Patreon alone (possibly double that, we don't see a break down of what paid surporters are actually paying so it may be a lot more) - so it's harder to feel sorry for a creator of his size when something leaks.

On the other hand, he's contending with the possibility that his next game doesn't achieve the same reach, and so it's important to maximise what he can on the success to ensure he can continue creating in the future.

And then again, at the same time, $100 for early access to an update is a bit gross. I understand it is to dissuade leaking, but to be honest, I think that probably emboldens leakers further. It's punishing legitimate supporters to go so high.

And then again - HS2 has to be free. You remove most incentive to pay for it when leaking the early access, which completely ruins the positive side of piracy where it increases sales of your game.

Nobody is asking you to pay $100, the game is free. Stupid you who doesn't want to support the creator and have all the priviligies of the one who is willing to pay for the game.
