Is this game actually worth the hype? Never played it but after a quick look at the gallery... theres like.. less than 30 scenes? Thats pretty crap for a VN honestly, is there more to see in the game than these?

Caribdis is a decent writer, which makes him Shakespeare on this site.
Some may quibble with his use of tropes and gags but he's got a solid sense of humor, a good eye for characterization and is a good storyteller.
He also writes and animates tremendous sex scenes.
The only downside is it's just him, which means the updates take a while and what you are getting is quality, not quantity when it comes to sex scenes.
Is it worth the hype, I think so.
If you're not interested in the story though you probably won't enjoy it
