Both this game and the dev's previous game are written to be harem games. The story isn't written with single-girl playthroughs in mind, and the game essentially treats them as mini-game-overs or some sort of failure state: you made the wrong choice here so now you've lost path X. This means that there won't be extra content for sticking with one girl; just missing content that would have come from the other paths. As such, it's not a game to reward that play style. Would it be interesting if the dev had all the time in the world to write more paths? Sure, but the extra branching involved would make later episodes much more complicated to write as every possiblity gets considered, which is a lot of why big, complicated games with a lot of branching get really long update times even if any given playthrough of a new chapter seems the same length (or shorter).

Did you use Sancho1969's mod at one point??

I'm to 99,95% sure that I have played the 0.8 update without any SanchoMod because Sancho was MIA at that time and the lack of an updated version.
Anyway, I will try the save game fixer.

Firstly, that's wayyyy too much work for something that most players probably wouldn't choose. Secondly, the game is supposed to be a harem game and is very much structured to be that way (and as the story and the harem elements connected to it progress they will become more inseparable than ever), so major parts would have to be completely revamped to make this work. Eternum is one of if not the worst game for such mechanics.
Complicating the game for the sake of it. Increases development time by creating artificial barriers to barricade players from getting what they want. Hmm this sounds familiar. By any chance are you in management for one of the western game studios?
Most people play games to escape reality not be beat over the head by it. For an adult game, a lot of times that means a harem. Besides, there are plenty of real life examples of guys with enough money/status/good looks to maintain a harem. Do any of those girls give a F about him? Probably not, but both the guy and the girls know what they're getting out of it. The girls want money/status/lifestyle. The guy wants sex with lots of hot girls. Everyone wins.

There is a different popular game on this site where love interests and plot points are intertwined in this way. But personally, I don't think that's the vision Caribdis is going for here. Eternum is pretty obviously intended to play as a harem game. If that's not your jam, that's totally fine! Unfortunately, like others have already said, your idea would require a massive overhaul of basically everything in the game and the story, to the point where it would be a totally different game.
That said, I don't want to completely shit all over your idea. You seem pretty enthusiastic about it, and the more "realistic" mechanics you're describing could be interesting.... but I don't think it's a good fit for this particular game.
I know this level of quality takes time but damn is it hard each time I have to wait for the next episode to come out. The personalities, renders, and overall story really put this game in the top tier of AVNs for me

3. You could just put 2 and 2 together, it doesn't have to be explicitly explained. It's the same thing with seeing Benjie as an NPC waiter back at the Ulysses party and Axel freaking out shortly afterwards. You just put 2 and 2 together to understand what had happened.
