Yeah, when I was supposed to choose a pseudonym for Orion's Eternum persona, I felt hard pressed to just name him Chang.

i got the idea from the last 3 pages.. i usually check those to see the game's state since it gives a relative idea on the completion, debate, arguing, etc.. in other words it's all the recent info, ponderings, or whatever
about 95% or so of the time, it leads me in the correct direction, and if you don't like a percentage.. most of the time it works..
some arguing doesn't have to do with the game, but some does, like virgin status, background reasoning of a character, how the character's personality is.. these are definitely arguing points of the last few pages..
virgin status is meh, whatever.. the others have some real meaning in a game though.. so that's why i said that. and if they are vague.. people usually argue.
especially bored ones, argumentative types, and gender bias types.. i usually stay away from those games since people arguing over dumb stuff bothers me IRL already.
so.. this is where i got the idea. /explanation end

I see, I mostly ignore the heated debates as I generally find them very tedious and rarely reflective of the actual game. Note however that I haven't read this thread recently. It's generally a friendly and fun thread./explanation start

According to the changelog, which is in the original post, 0.8.4 and 0.8.5 are just bugfixes, text corrections and minor variable changes. Presumably, the versions between 0.8.0 and 0.8.4 were too insignificant to publish, as they are not listed in the changelog.

Actually 0.8.5 had a lot of the original music removed from the game due to copyright problems, so I would play 0.8 right now, if you still have that.

No, 0.8.5 is the Public Release with the original music. What you're describing is 0.8.6, which is the newer version with some of the original music removed and replaced with AI stuff.
Also the music was removed because the royalty free site where Cari got the music sent a CnD saying he breached the revised ToS for using said music on pornographic content, so he had no choice but to oblige. He did not remove it due to copyright infringement, as he purchased that music for use in Eternum fair and square.
