Good point. Primarily, I was just meaning that it would be extremely weird if out of nowhere Cari suddenly changed the versioning format or something. It should just proceed as you might expect. But technically, his next version could be called v.justiceForJerry and it could still be Ep9.

I think the 0.10 update might be related to something happening to Calypso. She’s the most powerful and she has the blood of Queen Anima. I don’t think she’ll die, but something bad might happen to her.

As for the LIs dying, I don’t think that will happen. Some people might want something dramatic to raise the stakes, but I’m pretty sure almost 90% of the audience wouldn’t like it if something happened to the LIs. This is one of those few games where everyone likes every LI. It’s not a game where people dislike certain characters or LIs. All the girls are written really well, and anything happening to any of them wouldn’t sit well with the audience. At the end of the day, this is a porn game with a really good story.

I'm just imagining the uncontained rage that would follow if this game pulled an Acting Lessons.

Interesting you feel that way; IMO it was one of the weakest parts of that game. Most of the LIs don't know about any of the others, none of the LIs know about all of the others, until they all meet on the plane, boom, one big, pregnant, happy family. I've been concerned for a while (or rather, been hoping for a while) that Eternum will do a better job in this regard, and it looks like it's well on track to do so. Just the fact that four of them are living under the same roof (with MC), and the other three have quickly all become good friends (with each other, with the Carters, and with Annie) puts this scenario ahead.

The main 7 are likely going to be fine no matter what kind of near-death situation Cari subjects them to...provided that you haven't greyed them out, anyway.

Can't say the same for Calypso tho, considering that while Cari said she's "part of the harem...but different," she still doesn't have a dedicated LI page. And that kinda bothers me since it's possible that there might be a terrible reason why she doesn't have one even at this point in the main story.

Also while Cari is using the 0.9 -> 0.10 -> 0.11 -> etc. numbering scheme, he is thinking about changing it (tho hasn't confirmed as of yet if the change will happen).

We haven´t even dealt with the cliffhanger of 0.9 and this man already has plans for the trauma in 0.10.
He better gives another good threesome to make up for it.

I mean the hints are there. I think think the game is bound to take a dark turn eventually but it'll be something reversible or avoidable with Orion being someone special and "breaking the chains"

It would be impactful, I think, that depending on what you chose in this scene, it automatically choses for you what to do in a situation where you had to save unknown lives or the girls you know.

I hope this is just a bad taste joke by Caribdis, because if in fact some girl dies after everything that has been lived with them, it would be the worst fuck up ever in a game, I just pray because actually this is a joke, seriously.... if that happens, this will go from being my favorite game to the one I hate the most.

Fr tho, I would really hate the game and would wish I never played it to begin with if something like that happened. One of the worst animes I've ever watched is called "Killing bites" and the ending or the climax is with the mc being killed by his 'lover' or potential LI. Similar to that, if one of or some of the girls somehow end up being dead or something would leave me with the same bitter feeling. I hope it's a joke/scare or if it's not then I hope he definitely changes the decision

I have to agree with you about the fact that some of the girls feel "out of place" if you go for that ending, as they are not fleshed out as the other characters in the main cast, BUT...it was still a satisfying ending for me and it was exactly what I was aiming for

I at least hope that Caribdis will give us a similar (if not pretty much the same) choice with this one.

Right now(from what we have been told), the only way to traverse realms seems to be if you either belong to Queen Anima’s bloodline or are a descendant of Yliar (the immortals). I don’t think Orion is related to Yliar so the other possibility is that Orion is also part of Queen Anima’s bloodline.

Orion’s mom could be related to Queen Anima or her husband (the mage who saved her). What if they had a human child, one whose human traits were more dominant than their elven characteristics and kept the child a secret? That bloodline could be human. Or what if her mom is an elf who came to Earth, similar to How I Became a Hero?

Hmm yeah, this makes more sense him being an Eldari with the ten gems and all.

The two bloodlines fighting against each other and in the end the immortals being defeated by someone from their own bloodline would be quite ironic. Although, I still feel like Orion's mother will show up in the future.
