Honestly, if the jump in quality for game 3 ends up being anywhere near what it was from OIAL to Eternum, we will not be ready.
Oh, definitely. Eternum is a huge step up from OiaL, so if he can make that much of an improvement again, it'd be--what--something like what Eternum is supposed to be (i.e., VRMMORPG), but real life?
I've been playing OIAL recently until update 0.8 as of now, and seriously, this man moved up in the world, the quality increase is unreal. There is proper music, characters interact more with each other and with the overall story, animations are diverse both in sex scenes and normal ones, renders are better visually and with better cinematograpy. I am impressed

Frankly I'd temper my expectations for the third game's visuals considering Cari mentioned he'll stick with HS2 (the renderer he's using for Eternum), meaning it won't be a big of a leap visually compared to when he moved from HS1 to HS2. That said however, the new story and new cast will likely be just as peak as this one (if not better).
Yeah, I wasn't speaking of just the quality of the renders, but everything else that dramatically improved from OiaL. thisguyhere covered a lot of it in his post.

i'd was thinking something similar ! , maybe Mc will find out that the only way to stop Tanathos is by bringing Tanatho's mother into Eternum , so she can see and talk to her son and say good bye for the last time.
.that is "if" Tanathos is trapped as an npc in Eternum but my theory is that the original Tanathos was killed by Mr Bardot and now he is behind the costume !.
Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there any point at all doing solo routes for different girls in this game? Really like the story and art in the game, I've run through it so far saying yes to all the girls just for the story, but harem isn't my thing.
Is there any acknowledgement in the script or dialogue if you're only with one girl or is it exactly the same but just with most of the scenes skipped?

I don't see the point of doing a solo route. It's a harem VN, so going for solo routes just makes you lose most of the lewd content, alongside other... wholesome moments with the girls that aren't necessary lewd.
I would recommend against it except for variety when replaying the story often. When I played it for the first time, I missed the Dalia path, which seems to be a very common mistake. When I recently replayed with Dalia, I was surprised by how much I had missed. There are important scenes with several characters that are skipped when you are not with Dalia. There may even be slight continuity errors due to this, though I think nothing dramatic. If skipping any of the other love interests has similar effects, then by going a single route you might get little more than half the total length. Just imagine that by skipping Nancy you might not get anything connected to the Roman Empires. (That's probably not the case. I just made up an extreme example.)

I normally have more of an emotional attachment to LIs if I'm on solo routes, I'm more invested in their story. Following the harem path there are hot scenes but I don't actually care about the girls particularly, the relationships are just too unrealistic. If the MC says he really deeply cares about a girl in one scene and then is off having sex with someone else the next scene it just breaks it for me. Harems and sharing just aren't my thing I guess! Will still follow the game for the story though.
Yeah, "creep on her in the bathroom" isn't exactly an intuitive way to keep her path.

I have another question about porn logic. Why do so many Li do so many dirty things before a proper kiss? Kisses mean established relationships and lewd stuff after that is less sexy? Or it's a way to show how slutty a female is? Mostly I'm talking about Dalia and Alex. You create an emotional romantic moment and end it with a blowjob. Or is it a slow burn approach? And yeah porn logic works but not after a person opens up to you with heart-to-heart talk.
Both of them, in different ways and to different degrees, are trying to be the tough girl. They're getting feelings for MC, but don't want to admit it (see also, tsundere), and may not even be consciously aware of those feelings. So they're playing at "friends with benefits," and friends don't kiss.
And for that matter, it isn't entirely clear how much MC is romantically (as opposed to sexually) interested in them. Or is aware of, or is willing to admit, his romantic interest. With Annie, Luna, and Nova, it's obvious and mutual. But with these two, rather less so.

That's another sign of Cali's growth as a writer. Ep.1 has tired tropes like this one and Nancy being fascinated with Orion's morning wood when you "forget" to lock the door.

you can choose to just step out of the bathroom before Dalia starts to undress and it's all good. So if you chose to stay, it's on you, you can't say you've been forced to do so...

That was early enough in the game that I wasn’t sure where that scene was leading.It's not necessary to become a creep in order to keep Dalia's path
I remember making a save (just in case). Then I played in fear for the MC’s life, but also out of morbid fascination. As, the MC survived and I seem to still have Dahlia’s path open, I guess it worked out alright. I’m pretty sure those still are the (dubious) choices made and locked in for my main run-through.TL;DR I made questionable choices, I have no defense, but all seems (?) well!
