Just cut the content and push faster updates. We don't need 2500+ renders and 3 arcs per update. Thankfully Cari is aiming for smaller updates after 0.9.
Smaller release cycles could also mean less play-tests and more errors. not all this time is just renders and compiling.

As long as the story doesn't make a nose dive I don't have a problem with a 9-12 mouth release windows (within reason that is)

yup, I replay the story again every time an update comes out. I think as long not buggy and decent amount of content then i dont care if takes while.
I dont like when some devs take 3+ months and only release 300 renders with so many bugs plus errors

It was free before dipshits started to go on spam runs and started posting pirated links of the higher tier versions of the game to channels where the public subs frequented. Mods kept getting swamped, so Cari decided to turn Discord to paid sub only, which was welcomed by just about everyone there who just wanted peace and quiet.
As someone who was in the server before the patron only restriction was put in place I think it is the single best decision they made when it comes to the community. I would rather the dev spend time on the game as opposed to waste time managing staff.

I think some smaller updates in the future will be a good thing. A bit of variety or some slower-paced story segments are more than welcome and provide some nice balance.
