This is the kind of character planning that imho elevates Eternum above the average porn game.So about this, Khayon already made a couple great points about the relationship arc between Penny and Orion, giving a good number of whats. I want to add 2 hows to that, one bout mechanism and one bout context. But, tho I wouldn't call it a porn VN, as far as adult VNs go you can call Eternum at least a bit porny. If you doubt that, the last page of reviews is enough proof Eternum's coomer-approved.
I think 1 of the consistent tropes or themes in Penny's arc is the escalation in sexual tension that I already mentioned in this post. The arc, after a near disaster breakfast, quickly builds by Penny and Orion doing some casual flirting, Orion hopes for more of course but he isn't very serious about it yet. Early on there are moments where either Penny or Orion regrets about having gone too far or doubts if it can go anywhere, and is about to break it off when the other is cheeky again and the first 1 gets carried away with that. Later that's mostly Penny having regrets. Anyway it's a pretty obvious dynamic if you look for it, it's the main way sexual tension builds between the 2 in her arc.
Another thing Orion had going for him is how he is supportive for Penny's modelling career. He's the only 1 in the Carter household that seems to spend much time helping her with it. It's easy to underestimate how important modelling is for Penny, but it's an ambition on the level of Dahlia's fitness ambition. Ambition is a core theme in the Carters' arcs overall, feels like Julius Caesar all over...Khayon already made a point how Orion protected her from pigs in the industry, and tbh modelling really has a lot of people like that. It isn't like Orion is the only decent man in that little world, but it's not like Philippe is much of an option for her. Orion had an advantage, that he didn't know, in that she had a few precious memories that involved him too. And it does take a pretty decent chunk of time and non-sexual interaction before she decides on Orion. Yes, it sounds shorter if you, like, only count the sex scenes.
You can differ about how well the pacing or implementation of Penny's arc is. But her arc does reflect her personality. We know she's had at least 1 boyfriend before but didn't have sex yet from that Veritaserum scene, because she's been influenced by purity culture. Imo imagica understates the characterisation of Eternum's LIs overall with that summary. One simple example, I feel there's a pretty marked difference in how Penny relies on external, social validation from peers, even tho she's said she's improved since that memory scene, and how Dahlia relies on internal validation from fitness achievements... Keep an eye on that for how the plot develops.
And I don't care bout LIs' virginity either, but in the harem genre it's probably a bad decision if you don't cater to that crowd. Tho, I'm not giving that debate a do over again, one of the worst poll dramas on this site.

Are you talking about Enderal? Coz no, it's not sold on Steam, but rather distributed for free and just comes with its own installer and page so you don't have to mess about trying to do it manually (but you still need to have purchased a digital copy of Skyrim before you can DL it, which is what separates it from Eternum or any other HS2 VN for that matter since you don't need to have a legal copy of HS2 to run those VNs).

This is a rare game for me where I just play other games until an update comes out and I'm okay with that, knowing it may take awhile/a long time. It's a wonderful game with extremely good visuals/scenes, and a good plot. It's one of my absolute favorites that I try to throw money at to support.
In my opinion there is communication from the developer so it is clear they care, the game is being worked on, and updates will come. That is better than just getting gaslit and only getting 4K photos and told something will come soon every week for months.

I always thought Cari was from the UK, because OiLT is set there and Orion is from there too, but Mr. Tartaria's thing makes me doubt it, however, maybe he is from the UK but can speak spanish, idk
