Sorry you had to find out this way, but the Funko Pop Company got Itch.io taken down. Apparently, the Funko Pop company used an AI copyright infringement detection program that falsely identified Itch.io for copyright infringement, and instead of issuing a cease and desist, they issued a takedown request to the website service provider. Also also, after the official Itch.io Twitter account announced this to the general public, the owner's mother got a threatening phonecall from someone claiming to represent Funko Pop.

just finished it and i got to say it was a absolute master piece of a initial release the animations where top notch and the story is very refreshing and original i really am excited to see the next updates and please never abandon this its amazing and has great potential cant wait to see it through to the final update

The update is coming along well. Currently at a stage where I can release a 0.5 again(with maybe about 500 renders)—just to get something out quicker, but I'm still not sure if that'll be the right decision. We'll see. I'm currently working on another free-roam type part of the game, which is a little bit hard to code, since it's way out of my comfort zone. (Still really fun process regardless) After that, a few more scenes, and that'll be it for 2.0, or at least what's planned for 2.0, I don't know if I'll add more last minute.
As the year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to apologize for the roughness over the past three months since release. It’s been a steep learning curve, and things haven’t been as polished or professional as I’d hoped. Despite that, I’m incredibly grateful for your support. I know I say this a lot, but it’s worth repeating: all 15 or so of you subscribed are single-handedly keeping this game alive. I only wish I could offer you even more in return.

It’s currently Christmas Eve where I am. While I won’t be able to celebrate, I will at least take a day off from even thinking about working on the game—the first time since release!
There will be another post less than a day from now where I’ll share some Scene Data again for those interested, including some animations from the game. (It's out now, since this was written for Members and scheduled to go public later) They’re free to use wherever you like, or if you just want to see part of my (very messy) process. That said, I feel like no one’s really into these, so after a few more, I might switch to posting Character Cards in the future instead—either from ET or just ones that I’ve made that don’t get used. Recently, there’s been quite a few! (For example, Lyssa and Eris weren’t even supposed to be in the game! I was just practicing character making and liked their designs.)

I'm impressed with the animations and style. The achievement and replay screens look so smooth too! You can definitely encourage players to take different routes with that inclusion.
You should definitely consider adding more bgms and ambience, especially for tense moments or when you're going out and about. Go all out!

I loaded up my old saves and saw it's been nearly half a year since I played v0.1. I don't remember much about the story at this point, so I just started a new game from the beginning.
