l do not know what is worse, a story and its character being introduced with not a lot of interest making you skip every text, combat where you do not know what is happening and you just do the combat and then suddenly the difficulty spikes so you get enemies that are tanks and fights can last for an indefinite time or each time combat starts, you have to wait through an animation but since when the animations starts, the frame drops to 11 and you have to sit through a slow animation EACH time combat starts. Perhaps the only good thing is gender selection but what would be the point of it, if the story has no essence or no tension.
Why l get the feeling only Persona 3(and Portable)made me watch each text and conversation without boredom even when it is linear and not to mention, each time that l was in combat, l had fun from it and felt like teamwork was used in every fight. l do not know, guess l really want to relive that experience with other games but it seems my expectations are too high.
There is one thing for certain, old games were and are the future, in my opinion, there is something about them that makes them enjoyable to watch and/or play. There are also some things that old games have where modern games really lack these characteristics, which can not be explained unless you experienced it yourself.
Seems like it could be an exciting game but l sadly have to pass. When my interest drops from just the start of the game(playing the first 15 mins), l believe there is a fundamental issue at hand but that could only occur in my experience, perhaps other people will have a different experience.
