Surely the dev kept the rendered images from before the filter.Oof gotta rerender 562+ renders.The pitfalls of trying to do something different.

We all like to be different but running your renders through a filter even snapchat rejected probably isn't the way to go.Oof gotta rerender 562+ renders.
the tags are kind of my jam, but with those screenshots, I can't do it, but the second it's updated, I'll give it a shot.

HA, not surprised the first text I saw in the OP was an apology for the filter they used and a promise to fix it. I've seen some horrible graphics over the years and I can understand why they'd try something different given how many people use honey select graphics but damn those will seriously make your eyes bleed.

hmm, not sure what's up with you guys, my eyes do not bleed, that may be because i played lots of flash games back in the days, and recent remake of Sonny which can be found in steam, graphics here are alike , also, the very first the walking dead, cartoon filter isn't that uncommon as well as there is no issue with the colors on my stock BenQ XL2411Z & calibrated AOC AG241QX
my only complaint is not to the game but to the fact that ag241qx's reds are more orange than reds in comparison to benq xd , and whites more greys than whites, but that's pretty much why benq is top brand with costly monitors and ag241qx is cheapest 1440p 144hz

One could try to salvage the renders with a anisotropic kuwahara filter, but using the original renders would probably be better anyway. It would not make it Good, just Less Bad.
Also not to forget that there seems to be a bit of a potential for a crackdown on games that get popular using illusion assets and making money from said assets.
I don’t know if it’s the contrarian in me but I kinda liked the filter

What is wrong with the filter? I see nothing wrong with it though.
Based on the screenshots, I'd say the game has an "animated comic book" kind of design/look. If that's what the dev(s) were aiming for, then all they'd need to do is tweak and experiment with the visuals some more and they could have their own unique style for looks alone.

Sure, if he you know, made the art style himself. Taking a preexisting 3D render and just adding a filter makes you as artistic as taking photographs in Black and White.
Porn isn't exactly the environment where you want to be attempting to impress people with a pseudo artstyle.
