And you're sure you have the .55 Beta base game extracted?

I am sure. I extracted it using powerISO and not 7-zip because I didn't have enough space on driver C. After that I extracted the 5.9 update and replaced all the files that required replacing.

Most of the images are not showing. I either get an error message saying "image not found" during scenes, but some gifs work, for example, the glory hole gifs work perfectly.

Not an expert at this by any means, but if I have to take a guess, the files were probably not extracted properly/fully. Are you able to re-extract .55B and .59?

I believe I can, but it's gonna take a while since I have limited space on my C drive. Also, is there a problem if I downloaded the torrent for version 0.59?
Is there a possibility that the torrent version is the full version and not just an update?

hwo do i trigger the family content

The family trouble story is late game content. If you are new to the game, it will take you a long time to get to the point where you can trigger the new story added in version 0.55 Beta.

All 5 random/special events must be completed before you can begin the story with the MC's family.

Random/Special Events

Mansion Burglar - (Lilli Dixon)
Mansion Solicitor (cookie girl) - (Asuna Fox)
Mansion College Girl - (Kimmy Granger)
Farm College Hazing - (Ashley Maya)
Stranded Motorist (requires the previous 4 events to be completed first) - (Lolly Lips)

All 5 of the above events require that you own the mansion which takes quite a while to earn enough money to purchase.

Here is a basic checklist that will trigger all of the events including the new family story:

• Own the mansion
• Own a cool car
• Own all the firearms
• Purchase all the extras at your mansion
• Have at least 6 mansion security guards
• Have at least 2 maids
• Train at least 12 slaves
• Have at least 12 whores
• Be a taxi driver a lot (mostly to get new slaves to train - capture the best girls)
• Have contacts/relationships with lots of NPCs including high society and students
• Have an excellent relationship with the chief of police, maintain it, and visit him occasionally
• Have an excellent relationship with Tony and do business with him occasionally
• Keep fit and a good appearance
• Earn lots of money
• Spend time at your mansion doing regular activities at different times of the day

I noticed that I am partly an idiot because it clearly says EVIL 2 - 0_59Beta Full. The only thing is that the images still don't work. And yes, the torrent file is 15.5 GB. Also, should I have more folders with images in the pics folder or are these all?

Masters of Raana is way too complex for me... I find it excruciatingly boring.

Complex doesn't mean better... a game should balance different factors to beeing fun, and no every game works for every player.

If this one doesn't work for you, just try the next one. Telling us you like other games better is a waste of time (yours and ours).

I have been playing lately to a Unity game called Film Studio Tycoon (not a porn game), and even if it's quite simple, I really enjoy playing it.

I don't like complex games either. It's just that the guy who's replying to seems to think complex games are better. Maybe I misunderstood what he's trying to say. There are so many other simple games that are so well constructed too like Patriarch, Love & Vice, College Daze, etc. I can't even figure out how to play this game after spending 20 minutes in it and getting absolutely nowhere. Generally speaking, I prefer visual novels where there's no complex at all just story.

Does anyone have a starter guide for what you're supposed to do in this game? What should you do every day, what is the mid game objective, final objective? This game really fails on even the simplest level.

that's the end of part 1, I think part 2 triggers a couple days later

There is a very distinct ending to part 1. Basically, it'll tell you that part 1 is over, you are free to replay or move on to part 2.
