Can someone put working qsp player on this game? my 1.9.0 isnt showing any pics and its imposible to play. This one in oryginal evil game crash after start.. what to do? any help?

I downloaded 570 too and the same happends like there was a broken files.. Many pics missing.. Meybe modders can help with that..

when you download it, it contains the correct player. At least for me on windows it did. it is also stated in the first post : "use the sqp player delivered with the download"
It dosent work for me. It crashes on start. I try couple times... I try also win7 compatibility mode and nothing... Still crash on start... Its a shame becouse i heard good opinion on that game..

Are you trying to run the game in a Virtual Machine (VM) or something? The game should work with a legal copy of Windows 7 or Windows 10 (fully patched and updated). Can you download, install, and run 'VLC media player for Windows'? If you can't then that is the problem. The OS has to support and have DirectX installed also. Can you play DirectX games on your computer? Can you watch .MP4 videos in VLC Media Player for Windows?
EVIL 2 is Windows only unfortunately. The QSP player bundled with the game is the only player that will work properly. If you are using a Mac it is best to dual boot Windows instead of trying to run it in a VM.

I'm using Chrome 64-bit for Windows and I just click on the attachment link and it automatically downloads the file to my 'downloads' folder. Use 7-zip to extract it.
I've had no issues (that I'm aware of) using Qqsp 1.9 on Linux. Videos and sound are working, which I assume is the main point of issue.
i'll try using firefox here never had this problem before

Interesting. The last I heard, the game doesn't work properly with Qqsp because it doesn't support the VLC video libraries. If your videos, pictures, and sound work on linux awesome. The last time I tried Qqsp it didn't play the videos on a Windows OS.
A lot of MP4 videos rely on the VLC video libraries to run. The VLC video libraries are an unofficial video standard/requirement.
OK, i got VLC and its updated, im using virtul machine becouse of blue stacks, i got legal win10 on full update, I7 processor, 32 Gb ram. All other qsp games working properly. You suggest to turn VM down? i try run it again now, dowloading fresh copy of all evil 1 and 2 and nothing..
ok i think i solve problem. I turn off Inter VM, i got 2 video cards and i disable main card and leave only integrated Intel board card and it started to work...

Nice! Good that Evil is still being worked on. Are the body pictures for the girls just placeholders or something? They are so random, for example, "morbidly obese" was just some random model with a average fine body. I remember the old version had pictures atleast little bit similar to the description. Might not be a big deal for everyone, but little things like that really bother some of us.

Possibly, but I'm taking a break from the game at the moment. It would be a lot of work to introduce family members into the game. I'm not opposed to doing it but it would be a good time investment (2-3 months of development time to do it right). I struggle with the creative side of things and am much better with coding.
