I want to assign one of my gangmembers to assassination duty but I can't for some reason, why is that?
skybarbie posted the requirements a few pages back:I want to assign one of my gangmembers to assassination duty but I can't for some reason, why is that?
From Developer Notes :Can you interact with the mc's family member? if so how?
How do I trigger the random/special events and the new 'Family Trouble' storyline?
Refer to this post.
You have to get further in the Pool Girl Story. Once you get a phone call from Tony about an incident at his mansion it should become available. Why can't I advertise online for a babysitter in this save?

In your save game this is correct, however the player can start the 'Babysitter' event before starting 'Pool Girl Story - Part 1' and just after finishing the 'Photo Drama' event. The reason you couldn't start it is because you can't start the 'Babysitter' event in the middle of 'Pool Girl Story - Part 1' due to timing issues. As skybarbie pointed out, once you finish 'Pool Girl Story - Part 1' you can start the 'Babysitter' event. You have to get further in the Pool Girl Story. Part 1 of the Pool Girl Story must be completed to open up the Babysitter event.
We don't have control over the OP or download links unfortunately. The two links that noobtrain provided are safe. The only links that I'll personally use are Google Drive, Mega, and GoFile. There are a few others but those are the main ones that I haven't had any issues with and have good download speeds.Note: and Warning:
Mixdrop and Uploadhaven are acting very suspect.
Uploadhaven is trying to push me to install executables, and Mixdrop is forcing popups that do not let you download anything. If you click anywhere, other pages "not download options" pop up and try to take over the browser. Do not use those services. And admins, mods, please kindly fix this (meaning remove those download links) please before "they" cause us to get malware and viruses stuck on our machines.
This has been a known issue since the beginning of the game. It has to do with the QSP Game Engine and isn't something that we can fix. Some players never see the bug while others see it semi-frequently. I've personally never seen the bug but plenty of players have reported it.Bugz bugz bugz.... found a bugz...
.72 version
During sex events, game loses all pictures. Not just loaded sex picture, but all become broken. Happens randomly. Once you quit and reload everything is fine again. It seems to happen as popups appear. Noticed it happen when the background changes for time of day transitions the most.
Fyi, I am loading it per instructions in page 1 of this thread.
Unsure what the QSP Player supports. We usually keep the resolution low on the pictures so they fit well without resizing in the game window. You'll notice that nearly all of the pictures that we use have a maximum height of 600 pixels, most are 500 pixels. I would resize your custom pics to this standard for best results. Most of the pictures in Evil 2 are high quality (HQ), they just have a small size (height and width).Technical question - are there any size or other restricitons for the pictures used in the game?
I replaced some of them (tits and genitals) with some more to my liking and have since noticed some of them won't be displayed in the preview window.
Yup, resizing worked, thanks a lot!Unsure what the QSP Player supports. We usually keep the resolution low on the pictures so they fit well without resizing in the game window. Totally get your point. I perfectly understand how this takes away any enthusiasm to further invest your energy and time into this game (did some mod content for another game that has since been abandoned, let's leave it at that).I'm contemplating adding a popup note when playing Evil 2 for the first time - Informing players about the two long storylines and 13 unique events in the game.
The problem is that most players don't bother reading anything on the OP. They click the download links and play the game. They then give up on it early while only experiencing 10% to 50% of the game, 50% being generous. They then blame the game and write a poor review with lots of incorrect statements (opinions are fine, false statements are problematic).
I can't fix human nature so I'm not sure the best way to solve this problem. The 'Developer Notes/FAQ' section has a link to both the Beginner's Guide and the Requirements to trigger the unique events and stories in the game, but players don't bother reading it. This is painfully obvious by visiting the Reviews section.
I hate to add a popup but I'm not sure how to solve this. Every poor review means fewer players will be willing to give the game a try. I don't mind if a player doesn't like the game. It's impossible to please everyone. QSP games have a small following to begin with. The issue is when false information is posted which gives players a false overview of the game.
Honestly, with all the shit that has gone down over the years on this site I'm not even sure why I care anymore (sad). All I wanted was to give players some fun content to play through, LOL. I challenge players to try being a game developer for a year. They won't because most players just use and refuse to give back.
